Meister Herman (Korean: 마이스터 헤르만 Maiseuteo Hereuman) was a renown scientist of Empyrean, regarded as Empyrean's greatest engineer and the first Prime. He was the friend and colleague of the former Seven Shards member Michelle Curio and the teacher of Hiram Klauf.

During his lifetime, Herman worked with Michelle Curio to devise schematics of devices that would fundamentally shake the foundation of Empyrean and pave the way for Empyrean's future. However, sometime prior to the Second Capital Island Invasion, he was allegedly assassinated by a member of the Kartel. But Herman had prepared for this. Knowing that one day his life would be in danger due to his mechanical prowess and worried that his blueprints would fall into the wrong hands, Herman entrusted Michelle with half of his schematics prior to his death and hid the other half away in his secret laboratory, which was later discovered by his protégé Hiram.
