As of Season 7 Act 01, The Challenge Tab has been replaced by Achievement, where every time you complete an achievement, your Total Achievement Level Points increase. When they reach 100%, your level will be increased and you'll get a reward:

  • Character Growth: Leveling up classes, Adventurer Fame, doing Community-related content, or increasing Professions.
  • Normal Dungeon: Clearing Normal Dungeons.
  • Advanced Dungeon: Clearing Advanced Dungeons.

Note: By doing these, you can unlock various rewards by doing the corresponding dungeon content, but keep in mind that if there is a This achievement cannot be completed at the moment. message, this means that the content involved was removed.

Collection

The Collection Tab displays information about the character's attributes and Expertise (Honor) Level.

Character Attributes

Each character subclass has a set of 3 unique attributes which are used for the Arad Adventure function (and formerly for the Expedition function).

Expertise Levels

Expertise is a function that can be accessed once the character has reached the current level cap, and only serves as a cosmetic effect in front of the character's name. (Non-Advanced characters cannot have their Expertise Levels increased.)

The Expertise Tier goes as follows:

  • Challenger -> Expert -> Leader -> Guru -> Legend -> Hero -> Guide -> Savior

Total EXP required is calculated based on the standard linear multiplier. The data may have slight differences compared to the information presented in-game due to minor rounding variations.

Expedition (Obsolete)

Expeditions allow for selected characters to automatically run chosen regions from a given list for a chosen set time period. Upon returning from the Expedition, the player is rewarded with a set number of Glory Crystals depending on the number of matched character attributes and the amount of time spent during the Expedition.

  • Explorable dungeons are unlocked depending on your Explorer Club level.
  • You can create an Expedition Party with the characters whose properties (attributes) match the target's dungeon's.
  • Dispatch Expedition Parties, and they will return with Glory Crystal rewards after a set time period.
    • Characters, upon joining an Expedition Party, activate their properties that match the target dungeon's. The more properties that are activated, the greater the reward.
    • Time periods range from 6h/12h/18h/24h. The longer the time period, the larger the reward.
  • Click a Property icon in the Dungeon Info screen, and your characters of the same property will be automatically sorted and displayed.
  • You can use the Auto Party settings to automatically create an Expedition Party with suitable characters.
  • As of Season 6, Act 06. Sirocco the Intangible, expeditions are no longer available and have been replaced with Arad Adventure.

Arad Adventure

Following up on the removal of Expeditions, Arad Adventure is the newest additional content for DFO's Explorer Club that looks to take inspiration from The Tower of Despair Challenge event.

World Dungeons

  • In the Adventure tab, there are two different Worlds to choose from, such as Grand Flores or Mount Thunderime that contains four dungeons consisting of a total of 50 levels. When you clear all the levels in that specific world, you can move on to the next dungeon composition.
  • World Dungeons have only two difficulties, being Normal & Challenge.
  • Each World will have its own Combat Power requirement alongside 3 different randomized Properties, while optional, can provide different bonuses and rewards depending on the party's setup that resets once a day during the 9:00 UTC time.
  • Limited Dungeon is the third world option that acts like a daily dungeon which selects an Area from the two worlds and rewards Adventure Token.png Adventure Tokens and Adventure Merc Recruit Ticket.png Adventure Merc Recruit Tickets upon clearing once a day. There are only five difficulties to choose, requiring its own minimum amount of Combat Power with higher rewards going from:

    • The Presets tab allows you to save characters and form them into a 4-man Party by default.

Adventure Subjugation

The Arad Adventurer Subjugation is a minigame that was introduced in the February 2021 Exile Mountains update, with one focused on The Oculus: The Sanctum of Resurrection, The Exile Mountains would be implemented during a June 2021 Aeterna update, and most recently, Noblesse Code got added within May 2023's The Archmage's Hall of Dimensions update.

You can only select one Area to play, as this will lock out the other two for an entire week until the Tuesday reset. When selecting an Area, there are a total of seven dungeons for either The Oculus, Exiles or Noblesse Subjugation as six of them are based on their respective dungeon areas, along with the seventh one belonging to the final bosses Prophet Ezra, Devastar and Queen Destroyer.

The current three Subjugation Areas.

27,628 ~ 71,880 Combat Power 27,628 ~ 71,880 Combat Power 48,000 ~ 174,761 Combat Power

Battle System

  • Eight characters, that mainly consists of a party of four, can enter up to two dungeons at the same time. If entering the Boss dungeon, all eight characters are required.
  • Each dungeon will have at least three randomized Dungeon Properties and Combat Power required to enter as these can affect your Subjugation rank and rewards, depending on which characters wields said-properties, while the final boss dungeon has five of them. Dungeon Property changes once a day during the daily reset time.
  • The time period begins with 12 hours on regular dungeons, while 24 hours is only for bosses.
  • When a Subjugation is cleared or stopped, the characters who participated are under a regroup time cooldown frame, which restricts them from re-entering. If the same character keeps running a Subjugation Dungeon, it'll keep increasing.
  • Clicking on "End Battle" and leaving will cancel your current Subjugation battle places the characters who entered that dungeon into a regroup cooldown time frame, but can restart it with another party.
  • Subjugation battles can continue even if the game is closed, but will function on real-world hours to finish.
  • Tip: Time periods during Subjugation Dungeons can be halved if your game is opened.
  • Tip #2: The more hours accumulated, the larger the rank and rewards.

Max Rewards Count

  • You'll start off with a total of eight Entry Counts for the six dungeons and one for the final boss. Each time you clear a dungeon, that rewards count decreases by 1 each and cannot be entered again once all entries are depleted until the weekly reset on Tuesdays.
  • These won't decrease if you fail to clear or receive your rewards.

Ranks

  • Obtaining a Arad Adventure S Rank.png Rank nets 7 rewards.
  • Obtaining a Arad Adventure A Rank.png Rank nets 6 - 7 rewards.

Elite Members

Introduced within the Dark Dimension Update, Elite Members or Squad Mode is an Automated Player Character System that allows players to form a Squad of AI controlled characters from either their own roster or default ones (I.E Slayer, Fighter, Priest). As of Season 7, only Sirocco, Black Purgatory & Ozma Raid allows Squad Mode for Solo-only players, as both Dark Dimension alongside The Night of Revelation were removed from the Global Client.

Restrictions

  • Only characters at Level 100 - 110, and have reached their 2nd or Neo: Awakening can be used.
  • Only characters on the same server as your current character can be used. (I.E Cain or Sirocco)
  • Characters of the same class, including your current character, can't be used at the same time.
  • The Side Story characters (Dark Knight and Creator) can't be used as Elite Members.

Insignia

A player's slightly upgraded Insignia.

As of Season 7 Act 08. Codename: Gaebolg, the previous Insignia/Gem system that was originally obtained through running Guild Dungeons, have been removed in favor of merging both functions into a new Explorer Club Tab.

Instead of collecting those accessories individually, this new version of the Insignia/Gem system will now affect all of your characters in terms of Adventurer Fame, Damage Value, Buff Power and overall boost in Stats when running content. To begin upgrading, you'll first need to reach Level 110, then accumulate the required materials when gaining access to, and eventually clearing Codename: GAEBOLG while speaking to Meister Curio at the Culvert Bastion area.
