The Dark Templar is a magic swordsman that attacks and moves freely through the shadows, or absorbs enemy souls with the authority of Usiir.
- At level 50, the Dark Templar awakens as a Dark Empress.
- Her subclass cosmetic effect is a shadow duplicate of herself briefly appearing behind her.

The Female Slayer must first reach level 15.
- Talk to Blue Guardian Vetala in Silver Crown.
- Clear the Ringwood Underground Penitentiary.
Awakening as a Dark Empress

The Dark Templar must first reach level 50.
- Talk to Lobato in Underfoot Hall.
- Collect 10 White Cubes, 10 Red Cubes, 100 Superior Hardeners, and 100 Superior Irons.
- Clear the 30th floor of the Tower of the Dead.
- Obtain 10 Powerful Essences from APCs in Tower of the Dead or Tower of Illusion.
- Collect 60 Chaos Stone Debris, 80 Seals of Emperess Skardi, and 120 Seals of Emperor Helm.
