After Carloso's body scattered into fragments in the aftermath of the Battle of the Gods, there was no being powerful enough to contain and maintain the energies of the universe. As a result, a Dimensional Rupture was formed and the universe was split into countless dimensional planes, creating the multiverse. Within each of these planes held the fragments of Carloso and an alternate timeline, different from the one shown in game.
Known Dimensional Plane
- Arad — Current game's timeline
- Mirror Arad — After absorbing the individual known as the Lost Warrior, Carloso collected all the fragments necessary to regain his former strength and began converging the dimensional planes. As a result, a massive burst of energy was released upon the Arad Continent, destroying the Principality of Bel Myre and Sky Tower, upheaving the Fennes Kingdom, and causing the avalanche of Mount Thunderime. This event was known as the Great Metastasis.
- Evildom — A timeline where Pandemonium did not settle near the Planet Arad and continued to wander endlessly through dimensional space.
- Dragonia — The timeline of the Dragon Knight in which Bakal, the King of Dragons and his three Giant Dragons won the Dragon War, assassinated Hilder, and conquered Pandemonium, Empyrean, and the Arad Continent.
- Chaos — A timeline where Ozma of Chaos won the Black Crusade. A sliver of humanity still continues to fight back Ozma's Imposter forces.
- Angelica — The timeline of the Lightbringer in which Iris did not interfere in the final skirmish between Ozma of Chaos and Michael of the Holy Eye during the Black Crusade. As a result, the Holy Five were victorious, and a newly empowered Archangel Michael led another crusade to seal the remaining Apostles in Archangels to prevent the destruction of the world.
