The Order of GBL was previously established on the back of the Behemoth where they worshipped ancient relics. It is a large religious group with a long history, but most of the world was unfamiliar with GBL since they chose to live quietly in a remote location. Experts have only been able to understand about 10 percent of the ancient relics and documents that were kept by the GBL on the back of the Behemoth, but the knowledge attained in that small percentage is still far ahead of the current science and technological advances that have occurred in Arad. It's strange that their ancient relics also contain philosophies that are so advanced that even today's eminent thinkers cannot comprehend. Something to remember is that these ancient relics aren't so much "relics" in the sense that they've come from the past. In fact, they are actually relics of a far distant future, which basically challenges our current understanding of time and space. What's interesting is that the ancient relics found on the Behemoth have enough in common with Arad's current technology and philosophy that we are convinced they must have originated from this world rather than as an alien civilization from a different part of the universe.
