[hide]Overview
Raids featured in Dungeon Fighter Online, are introduced as high-scaled endgame content which involves a large amount of players cooperating with each other in terms of preparation and organizing strategies to take on several different phases that'll eventually culminate with boss fights, while implementing various different mechanics within those battles to either test the survivability or overall strength of those parties.
The Apostles that play a major role within DFO's storyline, are generally presented as final bosses in their respective content, with a few exceptions. When successfully clearing Raids all the way through, players can receive numerous rewards of different items within their inventory that tends to range from either; Monster Cards, newer equipment, materials needed for upgrades to become stronger, or cosmetic-related for character customization.
To participate in Raids, each of them has several prerequisites mainly in the form of Act Quests, and including the minimum Adventurer Fame cutline that can be fulfilled before gaining access to its channels, alongside coordinating up to a total of 8 to 12 individual players, being split into multiple parties of four members each, or optionally preferring to run Solo/Guide modes by a specific time limit given in-game.
Fatigue Points are not needed, but it will be always mandatory for all participants, alongside their Raid Leaders to have an entry pass by purchasing one for a certain amount of materials, either being Gold or
Golden Beryls. If under the beneficial effects of a Neo Premium Contract Plus, players can receive a free raid pass without spending any resources at their respective Raid Shop tabs.
Weekly Auction System
Introduced within a February 2022 patch, both Sirocco Raid's Hard Mode, and Ozma Raid's Chaos Levels 1 ~ 3 difficulties were given a Loot Auction System after all participants within those Raid Groups who successfully defeated the final boss and gotten their personal card flip rewards, where they can optionally acquire all sorts of various items based around Season 6's endgame content that ranges from either; Enchanting Beads, Monster Cards, Equipment Recipes, Resources for upgrading and crafting Fusion Equipment, or cosmetics for characters. While both Raids still have their Auctions, they are no longer featured in the channel selection as of the Archer update via Season 7 Act.07: Shoot for the Stars.
During Auctions, players are able to automatically bid a base amount of Gold, usually around 1,000,000, while frequent auto-bids take 5% of their income. Manual bids can be done through typing out a specific number from their inventory or withdraw from an account vault, and whenever someone bids higher, they can't place additional bids, plus the gold that were deducted from previous bidders will return to their wallets unless another bid is renewed. If nobody bids on a loot item, it will be deleted after the timer expires.
Not only will the highest bidders receive their awarded loot, but the amount of gold spent gets distributed through the mail for all participants regardless if they stayed or left the Raid Group after everything is finished. Following the Archer patch and onward, Bakal and Mu Raid's Normal/Hard Mode would also receive Weekly Auctions catered towards Season's 7 & 8 dungeon content respectively, alongside an "Auction Items of the Week" feature, that shows off three exclusive items that may show up off in Loot rotations once the Raid Group succeeds.

Former Raids
History
Raids would make their Global Server debut around September 2016, starting with Anton Raid, being the first of its kind. As of June 2019's Operation: Hope update, all of Anton's contents would be removed and turned into 'Anton Subjugation'.
Luke Raid would be the second Raid to follow Anton a year later in September 2017, and met a similar fate when its contents were also taken out to become 'Luke Subjugation' following the Season 6 Act.01: ASCENSION update around April 2020.
Prior to the August 2021's Season 6 Act.18: The Unshackled update, Exorcism was the previous threshold required to enter Raids before being completely phased out by
Adventurer Fame instead.
In the March 2025 Season 9 Act.01: Sunken Depths update, Undaunted Determinations and any Tales of Braveries-related rewards are no longer obtainable.
