Prerequisite Level: | 50 |
Prerequisite Skills: | None |
Description
Puts on a puppet show by using all enemies and allies in the screen. During this puppet show, you can control Madd and increase your party members' Strength, Intelligence, and Attack/Movement Speeds. Also, your and your party's incoming damage decreases by 50%, and all of you are granted immunity to Abnormal Status effects for the same duration.
In Madd mode, you can use the Enchantress, Active Buff, and Phase Shift skills, and resurrect at the cost of 1 Hex Doll stack.
The puppet show ends at the end of the skill's duration, or if the skill key is pressed again. At the end of the show, enlarged claws of Madd puncture and tear out of the curtains, inflicting damage on all enemies in the screen.
This skill's buff effect can't be used in conjunction with that of Apocalypse/ Crux of Victoria (Male/Female Crusader).
- When this skill reaches certain skill ranks it gains bonus properties:
- Level 3: Makes you Invincible for 3 seconds when cast.
- Level 6: Hex doll stacks +1 once upon Madd's death
- Level 9: Marionette Atk. +10%
Attributes

- Master Level: 30
- Max Level: 40

Notes
- The skill will automatically upgrade by a level on every 5 level of character's level.
- The Intelligence required to increase this skill's buff effect is 750.
- Strength/ Intelligence buff does not apply to the caster.
- Marionette does not stack with Apocalypse or Crux of Victoria.
- Upon activating Marionette, the Enchantress will step outside the dungeon and begin a puppet show, giving the player control over her doll, Madd. The player cannot move or perform any actions during the starting animation, however it can be shortened by transitioning to another room while in a party in a similar fashion to Female Crusader's Crux of Victoria.
- Madd the doll can still take damage. If Madd dies, the Enchantress can choose to spend one Hex Doll to revive it instantly. This form of resurrection is usable in areas where self-revives are normally disabled for other classes, such as raids.
- All general Female Mage skills are disabled while controlling Madd, except for Phase Shift and Mana Shield.
- While controlling Madd, the following changes apply to the Enchantress skills:
- Forbidden Curse applies instantly with no animation.
- The Hex Doll skills Hot Affection, Destiny Puppet, and { Black Forest Brier are performed instantly with no animation. Instead, it will drop from the top of the screen and land next to where Madd activated the skill.
- Hex is performed instantly and will not lock Madd in place during its duration, allowing the player to do other skills along with it.
- Meticulous Stitching does not lock Madd in place during the healing process.
- First Aid of Love does not lock Madd in place during the healing process. The healing aura will stay in the same place where the player activated it.
- Madd the Guard does not automatically track enemies. Instead, it performs a downward smash in-place.
- Jumping Bear Press, Terrible Roar, and Curse of Terror Bear disable all abilities during the attack, and cannot be combined with non-doll skills halfway through the animation.
- When the duration of Marionette ends, Madd will perform a finishing strike to all enemies on the screen before ending the puppet show. Reusing Marionette early will also perform the finishing attack and end it prematurely.
- Before Marionette ends, the timer in the lower left corner of the screen will begin to flash. If the Enchantress uses Forest of Dolls during this time, the duration and buff effects of Marionette will extend into the full animation of her Second Awakening. If the Enchantress activates it this way, the visual effects of the skill will change into Madd breaking the puppet show and collapsing the stage.
