Vallacre the Slaughterer or Dark Elf King Vallacre is an ancient Dark Elf King and the first king to conquer all of the major Dark Elf factions and unite them under one rule, now known as the Dark Elf Kingdom of Fennes. His ghost can be summoned by Necromancers through the skill Vallacre.
History
In Arad Year 74, Vallacre successfully defeated the major Dark Elf factions and established the Dark Elf Kingdom of Fennes.
During the years of Ozma's reign of terror, the Curse of Blood spread to the Dark Elf Kingdom in the form of the Purple Mushroom Effect. As the threat of Imposters grew, Vallacre grew more and more paranoid. In response, in Arad Year 252, Vallacre declared war against the Elves believing that they were the cause of his people's suffering, entering the strife of the Black Crusade. One year later, his army is defeated and he is killed, leaving his kingdom to fall into civil war. For three years, the internal strife consumed the kingdom until the new king, Ailede, took the throne.
In Arad Year 851, Vallacre's descendant Belerian became inspired by Priest Zieg's discoveries as the first Soul Bender, and created the art of Necromancy, becoming the first Necromancer. Around Arad Year 928, rumored sightings of Vallacre's spirit wandering around the Kingdom began to surface. Shortly after, vicious killings occurred, claiming important individuals of the kingdom as victims, including four elders of the Dark Elf Senate. After a lengthy and dangerous investigation, Belerian was captured. Subsequently, his research in Necromancy was banned by the Dark Elf Kingdom.
However, despite the ban, Belerian's teachings remained. In attempts to suppress the current Dark Elf Queen, Maya, the Dark Elf Senate went against orders and secretly cultivated Necromancers, granting them high-level privileges. With the continuity of the teachings of Necromancy, Vallacre's spirit continues to walk and plague the land of Arad.
Trivia
- Vallacre's name may likely be derived from Valac who is a Demon featured in the Ars Goetia Grimoire.
