Quest Giver | Oberith |
Briefing |
Oberith I've been sensing some suspicious energy from The Oculus. It reminds me of a dark, deep-seated hatred... That place still must be haunted by the spiritual residue of the departed. Please go to Teida in the central tent at the Alliance Camp in West Coast. He's waiting for you. |
Objectives | Talk to Teida Beonarr in the Central Tent at the Alliance Camp in West Coast.

If the Player is not a Priest
Teida Beonarr Welcome. I've been waiting. I asked Oberith to hurry and find you because of The Oculus. A suspicious and highly alarming phenomenon has happened in there. Even the allied forces that were heading for the Sky Tower to fight Sirocco had to return. A violent swirl of energy inside The Oculus has been sighted inside The Oculus. It's not something ordinary soldiers can handle, so I went in with some other Priests. And there, we saw something terrible. If the Player is a Male Priest

Briefing |
If the Player is not a Priest
Teida Beonarr We saw these people-no, they're more like things now. These things revealed themselves out of the dark purple energy that Sirocco had left behind her as she climbed the Sky Tower, like demons crawling out of Hell, looking just like they did in life. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer ...! Teida Beonarr The dead Grim Seekers came back to life because of the power of that wicked Apostle. They weren't just simple ghosts refusing to move on; they had their memories intact and thought they were alive. They even spoke to us when we encountered them in the deep, dark passageways. At first, we were so confused that we decided to watch them before we made any judgment. We saw those who died praying pray and those who died fighting fight until they died and returned to her wicked energy, just to come to life again and repeat what they did before they died. They're giving us a headache. Because of these revenants that wouldn't stay dead, we can't march forward. Their spirits must be bound to earth by their unfinished mission. I can't even fathom how fervent and desperate they must be to be this way after death. For now, we're planning to head out to the depths of The Oculus and destroy the cause of these revenants. Now that you're with us, it's only a matter of time before we solve this problem, right? Alright, then let's go. If the Player is a Male Priest

Objectives | Head for the Abyssal Sanctum with Teida Beonarr. |
Dungeon Dialogue |
Upon entering the dungeon: Teida Beonarr The swirling energy on the inside has become more sinister. Upon defeating the Boss: Teida Beonarr This should be a good spot for our forward base. Thanks to you, we've secured a good location. Everyone, hurry! We'd better finish before the revenants come at us. |
Upon Completion |
Teida Beonarr Finally, I can take a breather. Seeing the Priests and soldiers who just came here, I guess Oberith will also be here soon. Oberith Adventurer! Teida! Teida Beonarr Speaking of the devil. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer (Nodding head) Oberith Thanks to you two, we came here safely. The allied forces and the newly dispatched members of our Order are on their way here as well. With provisions from Bel Myre and supplies from the De Los Empire. Teida Beonarr That's the greatest news I've ever heard! Now, we've got our backs covered. |

Briefing |
Oberith Let me join you from now on. I can't let you two continue to carry the burden on your own. Teida Beonarr No, don't. I want you to stay here and guard our backs, so we don't have to worry about being attacked from behind. Oberith But... Teida Beonarr These revenants born out of the wicked energy keep coming back to life, no matter how many times we get rid of them. This means, the farther we go, the more revenants there will be around us. We need you to stay behind and watch our backs. Protect this forward base and command the allied forces and Priests to keep the revenants in check, so we can safely move forward. I know you can do it. Oberith Okay. I'll support you from behind, so you and the Adventurer won't get isolated among the revenants. Teida Beonarr Thank you. Now, we should go. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer (Nodding head) |

Dungeon Dialogue |
Upon entering the dungeon: Teida Beonarr Now, we don't have to worry about being attacked from behind. Let's go deeper. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer (Nodding head) Upon entering Room C1: Teida Beonarr This...! Hellcat Louise I got you! You're good. Let's have another match. Teida Beonarr You want to fight, even after death. I'll send you to God as you wish! Upon defeating Hellcat Louise: Teida Beonarr This isn't easy. Go forward. I'll follow you after I send this revenant to God. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer (Nodding head) Teida Beonarr Alright, come at me again! I'll crush you this time! Hellcat Louise Hah hah hah! You're funny, mister! Upon entering the Boss Room: File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer ... (She hasn't forgotten her hatred, even after death.) Upon defeating the Boss: File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer ... Lone Roseberry You. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer Lone Roseberry... |
Upon Completion |
Lone Roseberry I've been waiting. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer Lone Roseberry! Lone Roseberry You look happy to see me, despite the terrible things I did to you. You're too kind for your own good. I know I'm dead. And I remember everything, from how I met you to how I died. When I came back from the dead, I was as confused as the other Grim Seeker followers in here, who endlessly repeat the cycle of life and death. I was only able to see the truth because of one thing that stayed with me even after death: my memory of you. I lied to you, but you understood and even empathized with me. It was shameless of me to ask you to finish me in the end, and... you granted me that wish. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer ... Lone Roseberry Thank you, and I'm sorry. Rising from the dead was so painful that I wanted to end myself, but then I realized this might be my opportunity to talk to you for one last time. So, I've waited. I hope you believe what I just told you. Hah hah. I can finally move on now. Goodbye. |

Briefing |
Teida Beonarr Have you relieved yourself of the burden on your mind? Teida came to the Adventurer, who was staring at where Lone Roseberry was just a moment ago. He was covered with bloody traces of the intense battle he had with Louise's ghost, but they didn't seem to bother him. He spoke as calmly and sternly as usual. Teida Beonarr We don't have time to be sentimental right now. Let's head out to the Abyssal Sanctum. It's time we cut off the chain of ill-fated relationship we have with the Grim Seekers. |
Objectives | Head for the Abyssal Sanctum with Teida Beonarr. |
Dungeon Dialogue |
Upon entering the dungeon: The Adventurer's gaze was fixed at the end of the dark passageway. Slowly, they stepped forward as if to follow a voice that only they could hear. Upon clearing Room D1: Teida Beonarr ... I'm back to this place again. *Sigh...* It's like that time all over again, but I'm not going to let it stop me. Come on, let's go. Upon entering the Boss Room: Prophet Ezra I've been waiting. We meet again. In my previous life, I didn't end things with you on good terms. I'm glad I have this chance to talk to you again after death. Teida Beonarr This is strange. How come you branch managers are still conscious unlike the others? Prophet Ezra We carried the energy of the Apostle in us for a long time. It helped us sustain our memories of the past life. Except for Soryun. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer ... Prophet Ezra She paid the price. She may have lost all her memories, but she's still as hateful as before. But that's probably her fate. My fate is to die, even though I changed my mind in the end. I know you have many questions for me, but there aren't many things I can tell you. Except... There's something you must hear. Let me see if you're worthy of this story I have for you. Upon defeating Prophet Ezra: Prophet Ezra You are worthy, just as I expected.
Finally, I can go to see Azalea. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer (Resplendent dew...?) |

Teida Beonarr I have no idea what he was trying to say. Flowing forest? Resplendent dew? That's too abstract! Do you have any idea? File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer ... Teida Beonarr Then again, who would understand such gibberish? If the Player is a Male Priest

[Abysmal Sanctum] Revenants in the Cycle
Level | 100 |
---|---|
Quest Giver | Teida Beonarr |
Briefing |
Teida Beonarr The wicked energy has disappeared. The Prophet's spirit must have been their center. It must have been drawing the wicked energy that poured into The Oculus, just like he collected souls in life. It's only a matter of time before it reappears and fills the place with revenants again. Oberith Adventurer! Teida! You're safe! I came running from our forward base when I saw the revenants disappearing one by one. I got here quickly because no revenants got in my way. You eliminated the cause of the wicked energy, didn't you? Teida Beonarr It's too early to let our guard down. It was the Prophet who was drawing the wicked energy, from which the revenants came to life. The Prophet is one of them. Sooner or later, he'll come back and start drawing the energy again. Oberith You mean... Teida Beonarr Our forward base stays where it is, so we can continue to fight the revenants. I can't explain everything here. Let's go back to the Alliance Camp in West Coast for now. Oberith I'll follow you soon. See you in West Coast. |
Objectives | Talk to Oberith Rosenbach in the West Coast Harbor in The Oculus channel.

Upon Completion |
Oberith Welcome. I've been waiting. We've just finished dividing the forces and getting ready to enter the Abyssal Sanctum. Teida Beonarr You look troubled. Are you still thinking about what the Prophet said? Don't let it bother you. If it's really important, you'll hear it again sooner or later. File:AdventurerIcon.png Adventurer (Nodding head) Oberith Let me proceed to the main issue. Lemidia Basilica will have its members stationed at the forward base to keep the revenants in check, so the Alliance Army can safely enter the Sky Tower. But let's not lower our guard. Things can change anytime. Teida and I'll keep an eye on the situation. Teida Beonarr I'm going to take the other Priests and soldiers and head out to the forward base. There, we'll take care of those revenants as soon as they show up. Oberith Adventurer, I know you're saving your strength for the big battle that's ahead of us, but we could really use your help with them. Teida Beonarr Please help us whenever you can. Now, I'm going to leave first. See you later. |
