Council of Nobility

From DFO World Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The Council of Nobility (Korean: 귀족원 Gwijogweon), also known as the Nobility Council, is one of the many organizations that is featured in Dungeon Fighter Online.

It is a group of affluent noble families that hold significant power in Empyrean. Originally founded as representative organization by those who contributed in the foundation of Sieben Empire, its purpose was to create laws and legislation that best benefited the prosperity of the Empyrean and its people. However, as time passed, the Council fell victim to a series of power struggles which resulted in the organization forgetting its original purpose and degrading to that of aristocracy and nepotism.

In recent years, the Council has been at odds with the Head Archpriests of the Empyrean Church, most notably Archpriest Beldron and his successor Imperial Princess Erje. But after the events that transpired during the Capital Island War, it has been desperately doing damage control to regain the faith of the Empyrean people.

Currently, the organization's leader is Anje Wane, though, in terms of public appeal, its true face is Regent Nevillo Jurgen.

Nobility Council

An organization that Empyrean's nobility independently created to voice its opinions in Court. It is led by highly influential noble families.
The Nobility Council established the Northpiece Department of Public Safety to protect Northpiece, where most of its members live.
It has also selected the commander of the Northpiece Army on its own to hold sway over the Northpiece Headquarters and its forces.(1)

(1) This is why the Northpiece Headquarters and its forces are only considered so in name only.
