The Mediator of Balance is a special farming dungeon introduced with the Season 8 ~ Act.01 Global patch of Dungeon Fighter Online that is located on The Elrox. Players must be Level 110, accumulate the required 40,047 Adventurer Fame.png Adventurer Fame or higher, then accept and complete the Episode quest [Mediator of Balance] Ominousness Ensues through True Intentions from NPC Siran.

Functioning identically to past content such as Hell Mode or Guide of Wisdom, players can repeatedly run through this dungeon at any time as long as they have enough Fatigue and the required Mist Cores amount, which allows them to obtain numerous rewards, with one of those being Level 105 Custom Epic Equipment, alongside a new addition known as Mist Gear.

Entrance Requirements & Details

Level Required Adventurer Fame.png Adventurer Fame Fatigue Points Entry Material Main Item Option Levels
110 40,047 8 per entry 48 Mist Core.png Mist Cores or 1 No Icon.png Mediator of Balance Ticket each 72 ~ 75
  • If under the effects of Neo Premium Contract Plus, you'll receive a reduced Fatigue Point (6) cost, and increased Mediator Energy when entering the dungeon only on weekends. (Friday–Sunday)

Mediator's Scales/Complete Balance

  • Before entering the Mediator of Balance, each of your characters will have their own individual Mediator's Scales Gauge which is a energy bar next to their UI, being identical to the one given for Watcher in the Rift / Guide of Extinction dungeon. To obtain Mediator's Energy, simply clear the dungeon whenever the boss is killed, it'll accumulate a certain amount of energy to the bar per run. Once that gauge fully reaches 100%, it will drop various items, including a Level 105 Custom Epic Equipment piece. Exceeding the Mediator's Gauge can add a surplus amount to the next round.
    • Underneath Mediator's Scale is a Blue Bar known as Complete Balance, where it will offer a guaranteed Level 105 Sealed Epic Mist Gear Equipment through accumulating a total of 1 Million (1,000,000) Drop Points when running the dungeon. Once those requirements are done, the Drop Points will reset back to 0%, though this doesn't count for Mist Gear from normal drops.

Rewards

  • If a Purple light beam appears after the boss monster is killed, this occasionally drops various materials such as Pale Mists, Mist Cores, Golden Beryls, Boundary Fragments, or Dimension Cubes of any type.
  • If a Golden screen flash appears in the first two zones, alongside a yellow beam after killing the boss, it will have similar drops like the purple beam, but will always drop Level 105 Custom Epic Equipment or possibly a Perfect Boundary Fragment.png Perfect Boundary Fragment. Sometimes, Epics can drop from the boss without your screen flashing, apart from the Mediator's Energy bar reaching 100%. Custom Epics that have a Red colored Wish Beam effect when dropping tend to have either wield three or four preferred option lines.
  • If a Light Blue screen flash appears with a rainbow-like aura, this also has similar drops to the purple light, but will always drop a Level 105 Sealed Mist Gear Equipment, sharing a Blue Wish Beam effect after the boss is defeated and turns into a glowing object when hitting it. Another screen flash phenomenon also appears once the Complete Balance Gauge (Blue Bar below Mediator's Energy) is fully maxed out after running Mediator at least 2,000 times, Mist Gear can also drop if that occurs.
