A Marbas Servant (Korean: 마르바스의 하인 Mareubaseu-e ha-in, lit. "Servant of Marbas") is a robot in the Mechanic's arsenal that serves as an essential tool for sophisticated mechanical assembly. It often takes the form of a spheroid helicopter robot, but has been known to take on different appearances depending on preferences of its owner.
Normally, in Empyrean, Marbas Servants are granted to those who pass the qualifications to become Mechanics. But in Arad, they are given to aspiring new Mechanics who pass the tests of the Gunner Instructor Lady Kiri in Hendon Myre. When a Mechanic reaches their Second Awakening, their Marbas Servants upgrade to HS-1 Friends or G-Operator depending on whether they are a male or female, respectively.
In-game, it serves as the cosmetic for those who walk the path of the Mechanic.
