Magic Sword Bachira
Lore
Pandemonium War Lore:
That fool didn't stand a chance. His body that went haywire grew cold as soon as it hit the ground, and his powerful Abyss was extinguished just as quickly. I should have devoured his body when I had the chance. Then, I'd never be in this miserable state! I got to tear his skin and drink his blood dozens of times a day, and I wasn't in a hurry to get what I wanted. I thought that with him, it'd happen eventually... I was wrong. Everything had gone wrong. I might lay abandoned again, waiting for another millennium.
But then, it grabbed me along with his body. This creature that looked too strange and dark to be a human mercilessly stabbed me into where his Abyss was, exposing me to its energy. The overwhelmingly powerful energy surged into me. It was thick and filling, and nothing like the blood that I drank from him! "Drink it all, Bachira. This is what you've wanted, isn't it? Hah hah!"
The creature was right. This would do. Now, I can devour his body and create a new body out of it, like I've always wanted! [1]
History
After the death of Demon Sworder Chermak in Royal Casino, Bachira feared it was going to be left in a abandoned state once again until White Rust Sisley discovered the sword, grabbed it as she stabbed Chermak's body numerous times until his Abyss became exposed. Then Bachira would feed upon it's energy where it was able to take control of it's former owner by creating a body.
During the Adventurer's second attempt on a infiltration mission into East Harlem, they enter Silent Chapel to encounter the reanimated swordsman with Niu remarking that isn't the Chermak she's aware of. Bachira tries to stop the Adventurer, but was defeated in battle.
Move Set
- Thrust: Bachira does a forward thrust with it's sword.
- Overhead Slash: Bachira performs an overhead slash attack, sometimes it comes with a red crescent wave afterwards.
- Sword Scream: Similar to Thrust, Bachira attacks by biting at players in close range rapidly for heavy damage on contact.
- Upper Slash: Bachira performs an upper slash attack with red thorns producing in a front line.
- Berserk
- I'm very thirsty!: Bachira moves to the room's center and begins stabbing the ground in a total of four times producing numerous red slashes that goes in eight different directions along with red thorns that appear beneath players' feet. After this is done, Bachira will resume repeating it's normal patterns.
Strategy
- Bachira is comparable to Ricardo for wielding fast, yet very fatal attack patterns if caught in close range quarters.
- It lacks a groggy state after using I'm very thirsty!, so it's best to suppress with using your sustained skills when entering the room.
- Bachira is also vulnerable during it's berserk phase, but this considered a risky idea unless the class you're playing can take advantage of skills with invincibility frames.
- Stay behind Bachira when it begins attacking.
- Depending on the party's strength, relying on the Crusader/Enchantress to deploy their Apocalypse/ Crux of Victoria/ Marionette isn't required unless you wish to speed up progress or some may use it during Hard Mode due to it's increased health.
