(If the Adventurer is not a Knight)
-
How do I know you? Oh, I forgot to tell you, didn't I?
I share knowledge and information with the other Knights. That's how I can stop other Knights from fighting each other and save people in danger.
(If the Adventurer is a Knight)
-
How do I know you? I get it. We Knights share our knowledge and experiences, but no one else knows as much as I do.
I get to know about things more quickly than you or the other Knights. That's how I can stop other Knights from fighting each other and save people in danger.
The one who designated me as the helper of "Numerous Mes" must have thought I was the most suitable for the job simply because I realized my duty before the others, like the first rain drop that hits the ground...
Oh, I've talked for too long, huh? My story isn't important. What matters is that it was by pure luck that you and I met. And that you must be aware of the Great Metastasis that occurred in this place.
Can we talk for a little longer? I'd like to teach you one secret of this world. I'm going to show you what happened in the past, so brace yourself. |

This place is inside a dimensional rift created by the Black Nightmare, which has spread across Arad. I'm using thinning spots in the fabric of spacetime as the doors to guide you.
I'm not strong enough to open them on my own, but thanks to the First Wisdom, I was able to come here with you.
When you're here, nothing-even the Black Nightmare-can hurt you. But be careful not to become too emotional. That can attract evil forces.
Follow me when you calm down. |

Carloso is the Great Will that birthed the multiverse and everything else in it.
(If the Adventurer is not a Knight)
-
He's been shattered into myriad pieces by his own creation and scattered across dimensions. Not all of his fragments have realized who they are.
Carloso is looking for his scattered fragments to maintain the multiverse. But his fragments, as they return to the main body, generate a tremendous amount of energy,
which affects multiple dimensions. The Metastasis is a good example of their effects. It's tragic, but inevitable.

As you know, he's been shattered into myriad pieces by his own creation and scattered across dimensions. Not all of his fragments have realized who they are.
Even after the First Wisdom, Nemer, sent us out, Carloso has been looking for his scattered fragments to maintain the multiverse. You probably have known this, though not completely,
but I doubt you knew that his fragments generate a tremendous amount of energy as they return to the main body,
affecting multiple dimensions. The Metastasis is a good example of their effects. It's tragic, but inevitable.

 |
Adventurer |
That means I have to stop you. |
 |
Annis |
But destruction isn't the only thing they do. Carloso is the multiverse itself. The more fragments he retrieves, the more harmonious the multiverse becomes.
Finding Carloso's fragments in your world can solve many problems that have plagued your world. It can also prevent the Metastasis and the Black Nightmare from seeping through weakened spots on the fabric of spacetime. |
 |
Adventurer |
Really? |
 |
Annis |
Yes. The creatures that attacked Carloso were malicious beings. They tried to defy the laws of the multiverse and change it to their liking.
There are impenetrable walls between dimensions, but they, after taking Carloso's place in his absence, weakened them because they wanted more power.
Dimensional gates open and external forces come through rifts in time and space because Carloso's laws are broken. And those malicious beings are responsible for it. |
 |
Adventurer |
Who are they? |
 |
Annis |
They shared among themselves the evil power that Carloso abandoned. They sealed away Carloso, so they could be gods. They're the evil artificial gods.
Where you're from, they're known as the Apostles. |
