Released in November 2023 as part of the Season 7 - Act.08 patch, Codename: GAEBOLG is a Weekly Special Dungeon that can be seen as a "What-if" version of [[The Meister's Laboratory]], only this time [[Gizel Logan]] takes control of [['Gaebolg' Project]] and went on a rampage earlier than usual. With the help of the Seven Meisters, your main goal is to infiltrate the Lab through four stages battling mobs, while encountering the roster of Meister's Lab bosses you've previously encountered, (Stark, Energie, Dirigent, Identität) albeit much different in terms of designs and various attack patterns.

Gameplay & Area Progression

Released in November 2023 as part of the Season 7 - Act.08 patch, Codename: GAEBOLG is a Weekly Special Dungeon that can be seen as a "What-if" version of The Meister's Laboratory, only this time Gizel Logan takes control of 'Gaebolg' Project and went on a rampage earlier than usual. With the help of the Seven Meisters, your main goal is to infiltrate the Lab through Four Areas battling mobs in an arcade-scrolling mechanic, while facing off against the roster of Meister's Lab bosses you've previously encountered, (Stark, Energie, Dirigent, Identität) albeit much different in terms of designs and various attack patterns.

Upon reaching Area 4 - Launch Pad: A Choice for Empyrean, you'll face off against Gizel once more in a traditional 2-Phase battle with his own set of patterns. However, those who run the content on Level 1 difficulty cannot fight his Phase 2 form, but only on Levels 2–4. If choosing Level 4 difficulty, this grants access to the actual final boss fight with Gaebolg itself.

Gizel's Security System

Once you've entered the first stage on whichever difficulty chosen, Gizel randomly activates one or three security devices in the lab to disrupt your mission through various buffs or debuffs. Depending on their type, these devices can also strengthen the Monsters' overall stats per stage clear. This effect is disabled upon reaching the Stage 4 final boss.

Meister's Assistance

When defeating Boss Monsters per stage, players have 30 seconds to select one of three options that the Seven Meisters offer to support through permanent buffs with a (Common|Uncommon|Rare|Epic) Grade that either; helps them with boss fights, healing HP, skill cooldowns, damage increase or specialized support up until the Stage final boss. If the buffs they provide aren't working out, anyone can take a supply crate.
