Season 1 Act 4. A Lady Evil or Divine

'정도(正道)에서 벗어난 원시 종교의 추종자 따위 정의를 구현하는 이 검 앞에선 하룻강아지에 불과하오.' 그 자신만만했던 목소리는 결국 오만에 불과했다는 말인가. 빗소리가 차다. 이미 춥고 더움을 느낄 수 없는 이 몸은 귓가를 때리는 빗소리를 들으며 추위를 기억해 내고 있다. 추위라도 느끼지 않으면 이 극에 달한 공포를 오롯이 느껴야 한다. 그것은 너무 가혹한 일이다. 저 자가 죽음의 신 우시르를 수호하는 기사에 불과하다고? 우시르 본인이 아니라? 고대의 신이 인간에게 받은 모멸에 분노하여 이 세상에 현현한 화신이 아니란 말인가? 아아. 지금 몸뚱이를 일으켜 저 언덕 너머까지 달려갈 수 있다면 목이 찢어져라 외치고 싶다. 도망가라. 피해라. 죽어서도 영혼이 고통받고 싶지 않다면 어서 무기를 버리고 달려라. 이곳에 있는 것은 인간이 아니다. 죽음 그 자체다. 신이여. 나를 붙잡은 이 어둠을 그들이 발견할 수 있도록 도와주소서. 이 암제(暗帝)는 그들이 어찌할 수 있는 존재가 아니라는 것을 깨닫게 해주소서. 그리고 가능하다면 이 영혼을 부수어 주소서. 이 어둠 속에서 영겁을 갇혀 있어야 한다면 차라리... Is it really not an incarnation of the ancient god who enraged from being scorned by humans? Ah... If I could only get up and run to the hill, I want to scream my lungs out. Run! Get Away! If you don't want your soul to suffer after dying, drop your weapons and run! That is not human, it is death itself. God. Please help them see the darkness which holds me. Please help them understand that this Dark Empress is not something they can handle. And if possible, please destroy my soul. If I have to be stuck inside this darkness eternally, I would rather.... She must be—she has to be the ancient goddess incarnate, here to punish us for blasphemy! Alas! I wish I could raise myself and run beyond that hill, screaming. Run! Take shelter! Drop your weapons and flee before she sentences you to eternal torture! What stands here is not a human—it is Death herself! Please, God, help them find this darkness that has captured me. Please let them realize this Dark Empress is beyond their limits before it is too late. And please, please, destroy my soul. I would much rather be put out of existence than trapped in this endless darkness.
