The Book of Genesis was a Tower Defense mini-game event that was released to the DFO Global Server between Nov. 22, 2022 - Jan 3, 2023. During the event, players could construct various offensive and defensive structures with the intent of destroying the enemy Sanctum within a set time limit for special in-game rewards. Among these specialized rewards were the secrets of the Book of Genesis, which were rewarded upon defeating Chapter of Prophecy bosses and unlocking new buildings.

The one who is eternal yet is remembered by none
The one who jumps into the ocean for mere dewdrops
The one who redirects their eyes in order to gaze at the truth
The one who knows all yet is oblivious to the knife at their back
The one within which both justice and evil reside
The one who reveals secrets
The one who knows the truth yet chooses ignorance
The one who gladly sacrificed himself
The one who shall be enlightened to the cardinal truth
The one who has caged himself
The one who has never lived as they had never died
Chapter of Prophecy - Hall of Prophecy
1-1. Beginning of the Trials
- To stop the end of the multiverse, one must overcome all twelve trials.
1-2. The Significance of Choice
- No one knows what might come of your choice at the crossroads, and thus, it doesn't matter which way you choose.
1-3. Endless Means
- There was a being who had endless means, but no sword to enact them.
1-4. Parched Land
- In the end, it spoke the truth, standing on the forsaken land, but no one listened.
2-1. An Impure Heart- Those who approached her with a biased point of view had eventually chosen the side that they supported.
2-2. An Impulsive Decision
- The impulsive decision eventually led to yet another tragedy.
2-3. The One Who Does Not Die
- A trial stood tall and unrelenting before them, steadfast in its own confidence.
2-4. The Place That Cannot Be Seen
- But it was banished to where no one could see, dying a death without actually dying.
3-1. Bottomless Hunger- Endless beings came flocking to conquer a challenge and satiate their burning hunger.
3-2. Greed for Dewdrops
- They jumped into the sea to obtain the dewdrops; none of them succeeded.
3-3. About Right and Wrong
- One of them spoke of the matter of right and wrong and became bridled by the very subject.
3-4. Inner Destruction
- His bridle tightened and destroyed him from the inside, and then moved on to someone else.
4-1. The One Who Stands in Blood- The dewdrops turned into drops of blood, which were then scattered beneath the world.
4-2. Looking Down Below
- The one who moved his gaze, following the blood trail, came closer to the truth by the day.
4-3. The Moving Truth
- He'd learned the truth moved toward its pursuers.
4-4. Epiphany of the Enlightened
- His realization led to another discovery.
5-1. The One Who Knew All- He thought, now that he'd learned everything, he could see everything clearly.
5-2. The One Who Told All
- But the one who told him everything had expected that and smiled in the dark.
5-3. The One Who Saw All
- The one who saw everything thought he could foresee everything ahead of him.
5-4. A Small Edged Weapon
- He didn't foresee that small edged weapon. In the end, nothing changed.
6-1. Justice and Evil- They were one and the same, but some called them righteous while some others claimed they were evil.
6-2. The Battle
- They started fighting each other to decide what they really were.
6-3. A Single Difference
- Their own fight only dulled their weapons that they needed to overcome the trials.
6-4. A Temporary Truce
- They stopped fighting to sharpen it again.
7-1. Secrets Within Silence- In the meantime, a being who knew what had transpired broke its long silence and appeared.
7-2. Disclosure
- It disclosed the whole truth to everyone.
7-3. Secrets of Genesis
- Surprised by the secrets of Genesis, they looked up at the sky.
7-4. The Invisible One
- That pleased the discloser, who then sank into permanent silence.
8-1. The Blind One- The one blinded by his desire for revenge heard the truth, but decided to ignore it.
8-2. Meaninglessness
- In the end, the truth only held true to those who believed it; to the others, it was meaningless.
8-3. For the Great Cause
- The blinded being took all his supporters and tried to follow Heaven's will for a new world.
8-4. Belated Realization
- He was stopped by the others who learned the truth before it was too late.
9-1. Weight of Truth- The weight of the truth that they belatedly learned was heavy.
9-2. Unstoppable Inertia
- The tremendous amount of inertia it had couldn't be stopped.
9-3. Sacrifice
- A brave being sacrificed himself and stopped it from moving forward.
9-4. The Nearby Truth
- Finally, the others could raise their heads toward the truth that was closer to them.
10-1. The First Truth- A being retraced facts from the very first one in Genesis that had been ignored.
10-2. Millennia
- Not a single thing that had happened since the beginning of time was insignificant.
10-3. Near the Light
- The being approached the light of truth and faced the truth that had been hidden under the radiance.
10-4. Hidden in Radiance
- It learned the secrets of Genesis and realized the key to them was already in its pocket.
11-1. The Chest that Can't Be Opened- Finally, the key to all the secrets was discovered, and it was inside a chest that couldn't be opened.
11-2. The Key in the Chest
- The only key to the chest was inside the chest.
11-3. The Stark Contradiction
- Everyone stared at the chest that was a great contradiction in itself.
11-4. The Revelation
- As if someone whispered it in their ears, they all came up with the same answer.
12-1. The Answer at the End- Death was the only way to remove the key, which had existed since the beginning of time.
12-2. The End of Death
- Death wasn't the end, but the beginning. Destruction led to new creation.
12-3. The Liberated Truth
- Death embraced everything, and finally the chest was opened.
12-4. The Preordained Outcome
- But instead of the truth that everyone had been waiting for, it contained the premediated results of the twelve trials.
13. The One Who Looks Down at Everything- The beginning and end of the multiverse had been planned by the mastermind who looked down at everything while hidden from sight.
