The dwellers of the Sewer thought Black Moss in the Rotting Lot was the scorpion queen that spawned scorpions, but they were wrong. Black Moss was just another child of the real scorpion queen, Fione. Empowered by the Great Metastasis, Fione commanded monsters to abduct random dwellers of the Sewer to feed on them. How has a scorpion grown so strong that it can command monsters that should be stronger than her? Maybe the answer is in the fragment in your hand.

While you were gone, monsters from Meltdown came close to the village, and we weren't allowed in time because those Imperial jerks left their posts unattended. Damn it! Our militiamen were able to fend them off, but not before the monsters dragged away a few of our villagers with them. Now most of our men are wounded and unable to go rescue the abductees." <Player>: "That's not good. Those Meltdown monsters feed on Human meat. Let the wounded stay in bed. I'll go look for the villagers as best as I can."

Briefing	Hartz: "What? Did something happen while I was gone?" Albert: "Hey, Sir Imperial Knight! Did you know monsters attacked the village and abducted the villagers? You told me not to be a hero, but where were you when this village needed you?!" Hartz: "Then what were you doing, not protecting your people? You said you didn't need help, and now you're blaming me?! I went to make sure you really killed the giant scorpion in the Rotting Lot like you said you did. It's not dead." <Player>: "What? But it wasn't moving when I left!" Hartz: "There are two possibilities: either the scorpion is good at playing dead, or you were so full of yourself that you didn't bother to check." <Player>: "...I'll go check now."

Upon Completion	Albert: "They attacked us to get food for the wounded  Black Moss. Geez, they think we're nutritious snacks or what? You risked your life to save us when everyone else looked the other way. And we can do this on our own. Now, stop sulking and go play someplace else. We'll have to clean this up. Hm? What's that shard? It glows." <Player>: "(It's an Interdimensional Fragment! Maybe it's what kept Black Moss alive. At least I'm lucky to find it before the Empire did. I'll never let my guard down like that ever again.)"

Faris will hit the roof if she finds out about this. Hey, you! Go bring back the abductees. We can't leave our posts, lest the monsters decide to come back. Thanks!"

We thought Black Moth in the Rotting Lot was a queen scorpion that bred scorpions, and it turned out Black Moth was born from that gigantic scorpion. In other words, that scorpion is the real scorpion queen. She abducted the people to feed on them. Man-eating scorpion... It's creepy. Hey do you think you can take care of her?"
