Exorcism Parameter Formula

Using the old formula here, They have as listed:

• Rough penalty formula: (1 – (current EP/ required EP ) ) x 100
• Rough bonus formula: ( (current EP/ required EP ) – 1 ) x 100 x 0.195

Working with a guildie, this seems to work for the most part except that the 0.195 should be 1.95 (or heck, just change the "100 x 0.195" to a "x 200").

These are some data points I have on OV Hard:

• 100 Exo: +20% (cap)
• 97 Exo: +15%
• 94 Exo: +8%
• 89 Exo: -1%
• 88 Exo: -2%
• 83 Exo: -7%
• 77 Exo: -14%
• 66 Exo: -26%
• 65 Exo: -27%
• 54 Exo: -39% ✘
• 43 Exo: -52%
• 33 Exo: -53%
• 22 Exo: -70% (cap)

So all these values work with the suggested revised formula while rounding down:

• Rough penalty formula: (1 – (current EP/ required EP ) ) x 100
• Rough bonus formula: ( (current EP/ required EP ) – 1 ) x 100 x 1.95

Added in more values, and they all work with rounding down, except for 54 Exo. Using the formula you get 40% instead of 39%. Still, I think the formula is close enough to give users a rough estimate of what their penalty/bonus is. --AradEditGuy (talk) 08:52, 30 June 2015 (PDT)
