Speninos's Cut-In.

Description

Speninos is one of three bosses that is encountered in Tayberrs - Fallen Paradise. He's a Penguin who excels at a mage, but completely unlikable due to his arrogant personality. There was little wonder as to why he was shunned and humiliated by others. Then one day, he came across the corrupt Harbart and grew fascinated by her dark powers. He too embraced the darkness to make those who mocked him pay.

Move Set

  • Water Sphere: Speninos spits out 4 water sphere projectiles in a straight line that can be avoidable.
  • Corrupt Energy Orb: Similar to X-1 Extruder.png X-1 Extruder, Speninos will fire out a purple energy orb in front of him that pulls players across the room's near edge and explodes afterwards.
  • Water Beam: Speninos charges up and shoots out a straight-line water stream.
  • Corrupt Clones: Speninos will call down numerous clones of himself that wander around the room. A timer bar appears below to indicate he'll absorb the clones to heal his HP, so destroy these clones immediately to make him groggy and vulnerable to counter damage.
  • Growth: When Speninos takes considerable amounts of damage, he'll swell up like a balloon with each hit he receives. During this pattern, his attacks appear more larger and much stronger.
  • Water Explosion: If players are in close range, Speninos creates a water-like explosion in front them dealing moderate to heavy damage.
  • Energy Shockwave: The screen flashes blue and Speninos pushes back players as he channels all the damage he's taken in with Growth and discharges it into a room wide shock wave that deals heavy to potentially lethal damage and shrinks back to his normal size.

Strategy

  • Do not stand directly in front of Speninos when he's using projectile-based moves.
  • Time your jumps during Energy Shockwave.
  • Speninos has more HP than Kepheros, but not nearly as dangerous with his move patterns so watch for attack indicators and try to avoid being damage during the fight.

Appearances

Trivia

  • Speninos' get his name from Sphenoid bone located in the middle of the skull due to its shape somewhat resembles that of a butterfly or bat with its wings extended, befitting his appearance.
