Description
A black Hunter that's the boss of Purgatorium
Move List
- Super-armor effect when attacking
- Slashing melee attacks that can cause bleeding
- Can spit poison which will poison players
- A variation of the above where it spits three times in quick succession
- Powerful leaping attack with fire elemental damage
- A special knock-back aura on get-up that has a very big area of effect, and can knock you out of super-armored attacks
Strategy
- The Master Hunter is a vicious close-combatant and will be rather tricky to fight due to super-armor spam and high priority attacks
- Don't knock him down too much as his knock-back aura is powerful and will leave you vulnerable to his leap attack.
- Sometimes, the super-armor effect from the leap will become permanent once he lands from it. Grab him to break the super-armor or simply let him use another attack, which will cancel the super-armor effect.
- His poison is still potent when they hit the ground, don't step on them.
- If you see him getting ready to spit, but end up charging longer than usual - it's time to move out of the way as he will perform his shotgun spit which is very painful. It can also poison you multiple times, draining health very quickly
- Like with other hunters, it's best to utilize grabs and aerial combos. However because of its boss status aerial combos will often be shortlived.
