Vangelis was previously an enemy of yours in GBL Hatchery, but since the Great Metastasis, he is now your ally, and resides in Behemoth. However, as you enter Northern Shelter, you face a nightmare that manifests itself as his past self. He comes off as fierce and recalcitrant towards strangers. He has spent his whole life being a warrior and has undying loyalty to the GBL. He was able to survive Gangling Lotus's appearance on Behemoth thanks to Isadora. He fears Lotus's powers taking over the GBL and is constantly looking for a way to combat him. While other GBL members focus on knowledge of the world, he focuses on swords and other weapons of the world. He is very competitive and wants to fight the player but he is not allowed to leave his post. He may not show it, but he is secretly impressed and pleased with adventurers who prove their strength to him.
