Lore

Lore Exerpt:

It's been a while since I've shown this side of myself, albeit in half.

Do the Watchmen know that a Maleficent is so casually looking into the waters of White Ocean?

When was that? Someone once asked me why I became a White Cloud Watchman.

"My beloved homeland, and the beliefs and faith that everyone has held for a thousand years. I became a Watchman because I was moved by that spirit."

What did I say after that?

"When I learned about the Watchmen while traveling, I decided I wanted to live in the same mindset as they did."

Yes, that's what I said, but there's no way I really meant that. Even a passing Nabu would laugh at it.

Well, to wait a thousand years for a visitor who may or may not come, to protect a harmony so precious, one has to have some kind of faith, doesn't he?

Faith.

Watchmen thanking me for helping them, for saving them, without realizing it was a trap I set. Is that faith?

Or is it the heart of the priest who takes my hand and draws the veil, saying it's for the God of Mist, not really knowing what he's doing?

Whatever it is, it's like the unsteady water before my eyes.

It will be disturbed at the slightest wave of my hand, and it will be disturbed without.

I just have to take advantage of the moment and enjoy it.

"Largo, where are you?"

Is it time to go back to being that silly clown again?

Yes, Nabu. I'd better not forget my cute little Sacred Beast.

"Hah hah. Sorry, I was outside. You know me, I can't resist a good show."

"A message from Erlich!"

"From Erlich?"

The Bluehawks are coming to the valley, accompanied by some strange people.

More foolish humans? Or... has the visitor really come?

Whoever it is, it doesn't matter. The plans for Him have already begun on that dusky island.

But just in case, I'll go out to greet them.

Move Set

  • Sword Wind -> Slash Strike: Largo's core pattern throughout his first battle. How this work is that, whenever the screen darkens with a purple mist sweeping in either of the four directions (up, down, left, right), Largo will launch out a wave of slashes in front of him. Staying behind Largo is the only safe zone to avoid those attacks, as getting hit not only deals a significant amount of damage, but ends up placing a purple sword strike wound on whoever was hit by any of Largo's slash attacks that's stackable.
Accumulating five strikes stacks in total places a mark above that player's head, as getting hit one more time causes the mark to explode which can deal potentially fatal damage, alongside MP being drained. On Unshackled, this results in a instant kill with Largo's Neutralize Gauge recovering.
  • Unavoidable Cut: Exclusive to the Unshackled version, Largo places two sword cuts onto a random player that cannot be dodged by any means, not even invincibility frames through specific skills.
  • Malefic Energy Absorption: Also a Unshackled exclusive, receiving five strikes stacks now gives Largo the ability to heal back any of the HP he lost by absorbing energy from the player who got marked.
  • Mist Clone: Largo can create numerous clones of himself that's able to chain various patterns throughout the fight, or he'll dash towards the clone's position and perform it himself.
  • Spinning Blade: Similar to his Sword Wind, Largo gets into position with a purple mist surrounding him in a circular motion to deal a 360° slash in a narrow, but short range, followed by a more wider variant that can be avoided by going in the middle area where Largo is attacking.
  • Blade Storm: Largo can create around three to six Blade Storms that functions similarly like twisters moving around the room for awhile or surround players when he's chaining patterns, they can be easily jumped over to avoid being hit.
  • Malefic Slash -> Death Sentence -> Malefic Liberation: After some time has passed, Largo goes either from left to right charging up, as he begins to use Malefic Slash by launching out a series of purple circular blades that moves quite quickly. On the other hand, they'll leave out a yellow small energy orb where a Five Elemental Flow gauge appears during this pattern, as picking one up increases the gauge by 2%. Largo himself has a red gauge Malefic Liberation that'll also increase while he continues to perform Malefic Slash. Death Sentence basically has him launch out larger versions of Malefic Slash with the usage of his Mist Clones.
To stop the pattern, party members should get their Five Elements Gauge filled to 100% (You are energized by the five elements), as this causes a light to appear that not only connects to Largo, but his attacks are slowed down. When bumping into him, he'll go into a groggy state for a few seconds, and any sword strike stacks will also be nullified. If Largo's Malefic Liberation gauge also reaches 100%, he'll perform a instant-kill party wipe attack.
  • Spinning Cross: Largo throws his sword upwards, then he goes airborne for a few seconds. Then six sword strikes appears beneath the ground with Largo landing downwards to knock everyone to perform a roomwide stronger variant of his Spinning Blade. Immediately use Quick Rebound.png Quick Rebound right before he does this, the ground strikes can also inflict Blind (Status).png Blind (Status). After this pattern finishes, large Five Elemental Flow energy orbs spawns that'll increase the gauge by 10%.
