Gameplay & Progression

Introduced in March 2024's Season 8 – Act 02's patch, Dusky Island is the third Legion Dungeon introduced within Dungeon Fighter Online as part of Seon content. Playing identically to that of either Ispins or Hall of Dimensions, either you or a party of 2–4 players can select any of the four Operation Cards that's shown on your screen, which is divided into separate difficulties. However, the fourth card now introduces a new difficulty known as Unshackled, that has its own features similarly to Archmage's Transcendence Mode.

There are no Dragonoids or Transcendentals in this dungeon, instead you'll be battling the treacherous former White Cloud Watchman Largo following the previous Act Quest who was putting up a façade all along to be unveiled as a Maleficent in disguise, having an ambitious agenda to engulf the entire White Ocean in Malefic energy, and he must be stopped at any cost. When entering Dusky Island, Largo will be confronted several times through multiple forms and phases that he wield throughout your run that also have their own respective mechanics and attack patterns alike. Successfully clearing a Legion Dungeon rewards players with various rewards through item drops and card flips.

Tales Exchange System (Dusky)

Tales of Bravery Exchange Shop UI.

Through interacting with either NPC Chief Berners or Magar's Holy Grail of Contradiction, players are eligible to exchange those Tales of Bravery - Dusky Island.png Tales of Braveries (Dusky Island) they've gathered into Conqueror's Token - Dusky Island.png Conqueror's Tokens (Dusky Island) for a total of 180 times per week. With those Tokens, items such as Level 105 Sacrosanct Legendary or Epic Equipment Pots, Fixed Area Epic Boxes, Warped Dimension Cube.png Warped Dimension Cubes, and various Enchanting Beads towards both Dealer/Buffer classes can be purchased, or sold for 150,000 Goldicon.png Gold each with a 60 amount exchange limit.

Like with other Tales of Bravery-specfic rewards, these too also expire on Tuesdays, and certain items may have monthly or weekly purchasing limitations. The Machine Revolution, and Hall of Dimensions also share the same Bravery/Token/Gold exchange system count.
