Lore

Sirocco Raid Lore:

I saw you in the midst of my scattered memories.
You killed and slaughtered. You took and stole. You desired and coveted.
Your obsession with life and desire for power had twisted my residual memories,
turning them into abominations that were too ugly to be my children.

Once, I thought you were innocent, just another scapegoat of her schemes.
Then, I saw you slaughter other living things and act as if you were doing the world a favor.
You committed atrocities while calling yourselves heroes and me a villain.
So, that changed things.
You thought you were patching things up; you were only making them worse.
You preened while those you let live thanked you fervently.
You weren't afraid; you'd already dealt with several other Apostles.
You probably even looked forward to this battle with another one.
Let me get this straight first.
You're not justice—you're murder.
You're just as monstrous as I am. You don't belong in this world.

I have no real quarrel with you. I think you're pathetic, but that's all.
So, don't get me wrong. The only reason I've decided to kill you is...
because I can.

Move Set

  • Sword Sting: Leste performs a sword dash attack from top to bottom.
  • Shooting Stars: Leste will spread out a wave of stars down at players.
  • Meteor: Leste swings down his sword to send down a swarm of meteors from above, it inflicts stun if anyone gets hit by a meteor and later deals explosive damage.
  • Spear Strike: He'll go airborne, forms a spear and throws it in the middle section creating a clockwise motion of explosions.
  • Sun & Moon Sword: Leste moves over to the right side as he creates a spear and throws it airborne that causes numerous swords to drop down across the entire map, turning to either Red or Purple colors. Like Rosen's Transcendant Planet Phase with his Elemental Crystals, the party must hit the swords to unify either color of their choosing to successfully clear this pattern. -- Bullet Time is mandatory due to how short the pattern's time span is that can cause a fatal party wipe upon failure.
  • Guided Bombardment: Functioning similiarly to Isys' I'll scatter my feathers across all worlds!, Leste creates a large orb resembling an eclipse and starts bombarding at each player's location with a volley of a energy spheres at low intervals on the floor, afterwards those spheres explode. Some of those marked locations have a minor suction and is able to inflict hitstun if damaged by them. -- Bullet Time can be used to slow down those sphere drops including delaying intervals.
  • Shadow & Moon Sword: Leste gets in the upper section to summon a moon behind him, then begins a series of throwing swords on the ground. When those swords down drop down, they leave a AoE shockwave on the floor with the moon flashing that deals potentially fatal damage. By successfully clearing this pattern, all players must jump to avoid each shockwave and stay behind a sword's shadow that acts like a safe-zone away from those moon flashes three times in total, afterwards immediately move towards Leste's shadow before he'll explode the moon to inflict roomwide damage.
  • Berserk:
    • Supernova: Leste begins forming a pentagram in the middle, attempting to connnect it in a star shape underneath players. In order to clear this pattern, all players must coordinate by countering Leste when he does Sword Sting that's identical with counter-based gimmicks with Mateka from Anton or Fiend War's Axion/Euclid. Each time someone succeeds in countering him, Leste drops a green orb piece on the floor, anyone can pick it up and bring one of each to the five green pentacles placed around each corner before either the time gauge fills up or Leste hits players five times in total.
If the pattern is successfully cleared, a green pentagon is activated that puts Leste in a groggy state for only 5 seconds. But upon failure to meet the requirements, Leste powers up to launch out a roomwide explosion that deals heavy multi-hit damage.

Strategy

  • Leste is often considered to be the most difficult Sirocco boss form of the True-Consciousness Trio likely due to how extremely powerful his attack patterns that are generally the cause of many party wipes among Raid runs.
  • For Guided Bombardment:
  • Please do not overlap your energy sphere placements with another player's during the pattern, try to space out from each other to maximize space and stand back before all the ground explodes to prevent causualties.
  • For Shadow & Moon Sword:
    • Leap.png Leap can be very useful for classes who tend to struggle with jump strength.
    • Time your jumps correctly during the sword shockwaves and do be mindful of those moon flashes to prevent casualties as this pattern not only deals very fatal damage, but is able to ignore invincibility frames so do not try to use certain skills to avoid being hit.
  • It's actually possible to avoid casualties and survive Supernova if the pattern failed, use Bullet Time along with have the Buffers' AoE healing Healing Wind.png Healing Wind/Regenerative Aria.png Regenerative Aria/First Aid of Love.png First Aid of Love when the explosion begins. Enchantresses can also use Black Forest Brier.png Black Forest Brier to keep party members safe during this pattern, though it requires good timing.
