Plunderer Rossol
Lore
Prey-Isys Raid Lore:
Rossol didn't have feathers. Instead, he had stiff, coarse hair, a flat beak, and sunken eyes. He also smelled terrible, which kept everyone else away from him. He was always lonely. Until Isys-Prey came along.
Because of Isys-Prey, he came out of hiding and became friends with everyone else. But when the black fragments appeared in the sky and it rained purple, he didn't fly into the sky to find the vanished Isys-Prey. Instead, he stayed inside a deep cave because his other senses that had evolved to make up for his poor sight told him something terrible was happening. When he finally forced himself out of the cave, the black fragments were gone and the rest of the world was grieving. Then, Rossol did something he shouldn't have. He stole tail feathers from Slenikron while he was unconscious from falling from a high place in the sky while looking for Isys-Prey. Everyone became infuriated. Rossol chose his selfish desire over his loyalty toward his benefactor and admiration toward the friend, who made such a great sacrifice. Slenikron's brother, Slenikon was so angry that he flew into the highest place in the sky, looking for Rossol. Rossol stayed inside the Cave of the Night to avoid Slenikon, but kept Slenikron's feathers on his tail. One day, two days, three days... A long time passed. Rossol still stayed inside the Cave of the Night. Then, suddenly he heard a whispering voice.
"You're innocent. Follow me."
Following this voice that sounded similar to Isys-Prey's, Rossol came out of the cave and into the world that had changed terribly. His fur stood on end, reacting to the sinister energy that filled the air, but he wasn't afraid for the first time in his life. Because the voice that was leading him said he didn't have to feel that way.

Move Set
- Cursed Eye: This is one of Rossol's main patterns, being the amulet that hangs around his neck. Vulnerable to damage, it acts like a shield throughout the fight and in order to make him groggy, the amulet's HP threshold must be depleted within the 60 second time limit, if successful, he'll use Roar that'll cause rocks from the ceiling to fall down, then he enters his groggy phase for 20 seconds.
- Yellow Circle: Upon entering the room, Rossol places a circle below a player's feet which can either shrink or grow depending their actions. Attacking or running reduces the circle's size and if it happens to completely shrink, a party member will be held in that position and Rossol flies over to attack them, inflicting heavy damage. To keep the circle at max size, either walk, stand still or collect light orbs that comes out of the rocks to restore the circle's size.
- Scratch: Rossol will sometimes do a swipe attack once or twice at someone in close range.
- Purple Wave: Rossol hits the ground to create purple waves around three times. Despite it's low damage -- the main concern is that those waves are capable of reducing the Yellow Circle's size completely.
- Press Down: If a large stone happens to drop somewhere randomly, Rossol will sense it and he'll leap over to that position and attack.
- Berserk
- Roar: If the HP threshold on Rossol's Cursed Eye is depleted before the time limit, he'll fly up into the air and does a loud roar that causes rocks to fall down on the ground. Afterwards, he'll enter his groggy phase. However -- failure to meet the requirements not only restores the Eye's HP back to 100%, but he'll track down the entire party and attacks them sequentially and repeats his patterns again.
Strategy
- Rossol himself is also an easy Sanctum boss fight, though it requires timing and coordination due to his main pattern.
- If caught by his attacks, immediately heal using HP Potions soon as possibly as they deal potentially lethal damage.
- Time your jumps when he does Purple Waves.
- Remain patient and stand still if your Yellow Circle starts to reduce.
- Let the main damage dealers pick up the light orbs when they appear from glowing rocks above the ceiling.
- To speed up the fight's process, let the Crusader/Enchantress deploy Apocalypse/ Crux of Victoria/ Marionette and have your party destroy the Cursed Eye right away and save your strongest skills for his main groggy phase. If not killed, the Eye's time limit gets lowered to 30 seconds.
- If it will take the party 2 groggy cycles to kill Rossol, after the first groggy it is recommended to wait another cycle before attempting to destroy the necklace, to give the party's cooldowns a chance to come back up.
- When Rossol uses Roar after his necklace is depleted, the middle of the top border of the map is generally the safest spot to stand in to avoid most or all of the falling rocks.
