Vallacre the Slaughterer.png

Summons Vallacre to the field. Pressing the attack key will cause Vallacre to swing his sword, and different combinations of keys do different things. All of Vallacre's attacks deal Shadow damage. Vallacre lasts 200 seconds.

Details

  • Vallacre spiritually possesses the Necromancer, allowing her to enhance her normal attacks with the spirit of Vallacre.
  • While possessed physical and magical defense increase a little (about 10%) and the Necromancer gains +20 Shadow resistance and -20 Light resistance.
  • Every attack used by Vallacre consumes MP, so don't wildly swing around. Make those attacks count!
  • Can charge up the skill Dark Soul.
  • Can be improved with Vallacre the Slaughterer Upgrade.
  • Several Necromancer skills including Guillotine, Vallacre's Grasp, and Phantasm Storm (and the Defiler's passive skill Fear of the Slaughterer) require Vallacre summoned to be used.
  • Moveset:
    • X.png,X.png,X.png,X.png: Vallacre stabs forward, swings his sword back and forth, then swings it down knocking down enemies.
    • Z.png: Massacre Dance. Vallacre charges forward, swinging back and forth three times. This does moderate damage to enemies and knocks them back with each swing. Useful for gathering mobs.

  • During Dreyfus' dialogs on each floor, you can preemptively activate Massacre Dance by hitting Z.png before the dialog disappears. Very handy on the later floors when multiple APCs will swarm you immediately in a very small arena.
    • There is a minor bug in that if you are facing left when you clear a floor, Vallacre may end up charging left when using this trick. Just always be facing right before moving on to the next floor.
