Description
"Mount a fragment of Hyde's Crystal Ball into the bracelet. You will be able to use some of its power."
~ Golgoryan
Hyde is one of the four Skeleton Generals found in The Catacombs, along with Culad, Szak and Jakasiya. It must be slain in order to open the gate leading to Death Dragon Spirazzi.
Move List
- Hyde's basic attack pattern includes general melee attacks that will inflict Shadow damage.
- Burrow: If the player strays too far or juggles Hyde for too long, it will burrow and attempt to attack him or her from underground.
- Leap: Hyde will crouch, then leap and strike at a player.
- Reflection: Will summon a mirror that will reflect damage back at the player should he or she use any skills.
- Maggot Strike: Summons two balls of maggots that roll out from underneath on the Y-axis and strike the player. May inflict Stun.
Strategy
- The mirror will damage you if you execute any skill. Either lure Hyde out of the mirror's range before attacking or wait for the mirror to dissipate.
- Alternatively, one can rush Hyde immediately and eliminate it before it has a chance to do anything.
- Do not approach Hyde from above or below as this will prompt it to use Maggot Strike, which may Stun.
