Hello.

I notice you make the most edits to this wiki nowadays. Curious, is anyone on this wiki considered "staff" other than myself since I host the wiki?

I don't know (and don't think) sadly that there is still a staff here except you. But I don't know much, I joined only last week. There was a topic on the official nexon dfo forum from an admin of the mabinogi wiki. He/She said he/she was looking to restaff this wiki as the previous admins left.

I don't think I have have enough free time to maintain/improve this wiki on a daily basis (thats why I did not apply for a position here) BUT I try my best right now to improve its look, content, and, even more, the ability to its controbutors to manage and maintain easily data (like you can guess, working on the monster data right now).

No problem. My main concern was that there are spam bots flooding the wiki. I've done what I can to abate that not just by diligent janitorial work, but also by installing a ReCAPTCHA plugin for MediaWiki. We need to get this site staffed so I don't have to do all the dirty work of getting rid of the filth that these spammer pollute this wiki with.

I see. Nice work! Those 'RandomName+6Digits' spambot users seems to be created on a daily basis but except for a single spam article I saw, they seems powerless to corrupt the wiki. Or maybe its simply that you're doing your job too well? :D. Either way, I don't have much time on hand right now with the holiday break, but in the current situation, I would be happy to lend you a hand in blocking those bots and/or removing spam or useless articles. Do not hesitate to contact me to discusss responsibilities it would imply and anything else if you are interested.

Other than you and maybe Hellmut, I don't really know of any other staff. I haven't been editing much lately, since I've been busy, and I've got most of the Titles, Creatures, Dungeons, and some other stuff up-to-date for now. I know Uberdarkneko has been on a streak lately with the whole redoing of the monster data. (Which BTW, Great job!)

Equips still need to be updated I'm sure, but it's a pretty arduous task, and I've only got that partially done, due to pinks being changed up and the sheer amount of data to go through.--Ultratech87 20:29, 24 December 2010 (PST)

Thanks man! I hope those new tools/templates will improve the look and maintenance efficiency of the wiki. The new ones I developped based on the Mabinogy wiki are even better :D I just need more time to implement them better. Damn holiday break. :D By the way, you're doing a great job you too! Working on data like you do seems a much harder/time intensive task than working on images and templates if you ask me. :D Continue your great job!

Assistance

I saw the decrepit state of the wiki, and wanted to help fix up some monster entries and maybe work on new item/dungeon data input, but I don't know how to make formats for things. Is there a tutorial you can give me or refer me to?
