Dark Idol Anubis is a mini-boss fought in Altar of Darkness.

Description

Anubis is a loyal servant of Luke ever since Heblon's creation. He has a cruel personality, and so he was managing Heblon's world of darkness. But unlike Horus, Anubis was planning to break the balance by expanding the dark world. After Luke disappeared, Anubis felt that Heblon fell into a state of crisis and decided to cooperate with Horus in order to maintain their planet. Unfortunately, Heblon was destroyed after all, and Anubis was wandering across worlds until Gold Clown found and brought him back to Luke.

Move Set

  • Overhead Hammer:: Anubis will strike down the ground with his hammer to attack, this can fling players in the air.
  • Hammer Thrust: Anubis charges towards a player with his hammer in one motion.
  • Pommel Strike: Anubis will jump high into the air and strikes down with the pommel of his hammer, this may also fling players in the air.
  • Hammer Windmill: Anubis spins his hammer around for a certain amount of time, dealing moderate damage. Unlike Horus, Anubis' version of it is much faster and able to move around the room. Players who are hit can get flung or possibly juggled if he connects the attack.
  • Dark Crystals: Anubis slams the ground and creates a trail of giant purple crystals in front of him, using Hammer Thrust to break them which can cause moderate damage and flung in the air upon contact.
  • Portal of Darkness: Anubis holds his hammer in front of him, charging up before rising high into the air with afterimages of himself. He will then slam the ground with his hammer to summon an otherworldly gate, creating a vacuum effect and holds any players caught inside it. While held, it will deal minor damage, but it allows Anubis to bully you while you’re stuck. This gate can be broken by other party members immediately or by the imprisoned after ten seconds of the gate spawning.

Berserk:

  • Earth Crushing: If holds are used on him, Anubis will teleport to the center of the screen, becoming invincible. He charges up and summons four stationary clones at all four corners which gives him energy. Destroy his clones before the casting bar above his head fills completely. Failure to do so will allow the clones to deal a ground shock wave attack, causing heavy damage. This can be fatal if more than one clone survives. The shock waves can also be completely avoided if you time the jumping correctly.
