Either jumping at the right moment, or fleeing out of range will prevent you from getting hit by his AOE attack (watch for the skull). The other attacks this boss has include throwing skulls similar to Skull Thrower, but instead of rolling, they will stop where they land, and after several seconds, explode. the other attack this boss has is to thrust its larger arm forward
