Lore

Prey-Isys Raid Lore:

When she woke up from her long sleep, she flew into the sky of Tayberrs and stayed there. She took up residence in the white clouds, looked for arid places, and blessed them with rain. It was her blessing that kept the land of Tayberrs moist and fertile. It was her blessing that made Tayberrs vibrant with life. It was her blessing that gave life to everything on the planet. Prey soared into the sky and thanked her in person. Lupsong sang her praises. Everyone showed their deep gratitude toward this ancient spirit that woke up from her long sleep to give them such a blessing. She happily accepted their gratitude and promised eternal blessing. A long time had passed. Tayberrs was a peaceful, prosperous golden planet. Then, the day came when darkness swallowed everything.

Move Set

  • Lighting Bolts: Cumulonimbus summons many lightning bolts to strike down across the map.
  • Electric Pad: Cumulonimbus becomes invulnerable as she creates an electrical field on the ground that pulls in players.
  • Rain Cloud: Cumulonimbus makes a purple cloud that randomly targets a player and leaves a purple electric trail on the ground. Afterwards, she'll make both the cloud and trail explode which can cause heavy damage.
  • Area-wide Lightning: Cumulonimbus creates a wave of lightning bolts that gradually spreads across the room and gathers back to her.

"Can you avoid my dragons?"

  • Berserk
    • Roaring Thunder Dragon: Cumulonimbus will carve a black and a white sign on two random players and summon Raging Light Dragon.png Raging Light Dragons of those colors, which will follow the players marked with their corresponding colors. Black Dragon enters from the top left while White Dragon enters from the bottom right. In order to make her groggy, the two targeted players must keep the dragons from colliding with each other, and avoid being damaged by them as a Dragon Frenzy! timer gauge is below to see how long the pattern lasts. If successful, Cumulonimbus will enter her groggy phase for 20 seconds.

Strategy

  • Cumulonimbus is perhaps much harder than Omega Guardian mainly due to her AoE-related attack patterns including the berserk.
  • For anyone who gets targeted by Roaring Thunder Dragon:
    • Have those two party members on the opposite sides initiate in the "010" style, meaning they must keep moving around like they're forming a number 10 and while avoiding the damage floors both dragons leaves until Dragon Frenzy!'s timer gauge fills.
    • If either targeted player is killed during this pattern, the dragon will then re-target one of the unmarked members who's been given the sign to chase them instead.
    • Be careful not to have both dragons collide with each other as this results in a party-wipe which can make things frustrating Raid-wise.
  • Once she becomes groggy, have the Crusader/Enchantress deploy Apocalypse (Male Crusader).png Apocalypse/Crux of Victoria.png Crux of Victoria/Marionette (Enchantress).png Marionette and kill Cumulonimbus before she starts up her patterns again.
