Linking in item descriptions
← Thread:User talk:Gardios/Linking in item descriptions/reply (2)
I dunno if I'm doing something wrong or what, but when I link things in the description, it appends a "Has effect description:" in front of it, like so: Silver Dragon Qualification. Can you see what I need to do or fix it so it doesn't do that? Thanks.
You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:
You can view and copy the source of this page.

For flavor text, you can just use the flavor text parameter. It'll automatically italicize the text.
Oh, I didn't notice that field. Thanks!
Also, you probably have this in mind somewhere down the line, but do you have plans to make templates to work with Quests as well so that we can display and filter them on item pages and NPC pages? But that's probably work down the line later on XD
Cuz I'm definitely running into the want for that functionality now for things like Flamboyant Magatama and Purple Magatama where they are used as Quest Objective and Quest Reward, respectively.
No hurry, of course, everything is great right now :D
I'll look into it. With the way quests are currently set-up, it's a bit annoying to implement though since we have to revisit every quest that requires or rewards an item, but it's definitely doable.
Do you happen to know which users all worked on quests?
Seems like it's mainly Altair working on quests right now. The only functionality I've been working on with Quests is linking dungeon quests on dungeon pages back to the Epic Quest-containing pages.
I've added basic support and changed Limited Quests#City of Shonan, Purple Magatama, Golden Magatama and Glowing Magatama so you can see how it looks in action. The downside is that since Template:EpicQuest2 didn't come with a Name parameter, the name has to be added retroactively in order for this to work. Quests that don't reward items though don't need to be changed.
