Pros and Cons?

I'm thinking we should add a pros and cons sections to each of the classes/subclasses. Anyone that can think of some should go ahead and put them on there. --Agentknife 19:33, 20 September 2009

I agree completely, I'll actually help out with this if I can. I'm not too knowledgable about the game yet though, so it may take some time. D: --Hunter9009 23:51, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Okay, great, i'll go ahead and think some up and make a Pros and Cons list in discussion on the classes to add some ideas for. -- Agentknife 19:53, 23 September 2009
Nice work on them so far, mage is most developed currently, priest I think needs to be worked on more. --Shadofrak 21:25, 11 October 2009

A small thing that bother me

The gunner link is under the picture compared to the others, whose link is next to the picture. It's the only one that's like that so it would look better if someone could edit it's fixed. --Doomreaper33 02:51, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

I agree. ^^ --Lite 20:00, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
It looks fine to me. I think it's because your screen resolution is low. The only way to can fix it is by making the font smaller or put it sideways. --Tea 04:48, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

List of things to do

Basic contents that need to be completed. Sorted in an order where the top takes priority. Pretty much the same format as Mabinogi World Wiki. --Uchocobo 02:19, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

  • NPCs
Currently thinking of new way to organize and implement the new ways of displaying NPC rather than continuing the one in Mabinogi World Wiki
  • Skills
Ignore Theif, Female Gunner for now. Would be wise to follow the skill desc on one client for now and fix it as the game gets released.
Categorizing fixed/percentage magical and physical damages, categorizing skills that consume cube fragments, categorizing skills to each respective level range.
  • Areas
Upto Behemoth, including Tower of Death. Doubt that anyone will be fast enough to go beyond Behemoth within 5 days of the game's release.
  • Monsters
Upto Behemoth.
  • Game System/Mechanics
Endless pages of text to translate. Would be very helpful if anyone fluent in Korean/Japanese/Chinese can edit the necessary documents.

Possible contents to enrich the wiki

  • Adding different version names?
  • Trivia. Already have collection of old Korean client files and background stories to add to various pages.
  • List of Merchandises?
  • Information on god forsaken Arad Senki Animation

Name Suggestion

It should be NeoPle. --Bumble 14:30, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Fixed. Thanks. --Uchocobo 16:03, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Site full of info

http://dnfwiki.machine-code.com/index.php?title=Main_Page Done25 22:43, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Outdated. I would prefer either Japanese or Korean wiki. --Uchocobo 16:03, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
It does have very little but it has most of the skills listed and they are all in English. Google translator can only do so much. Done25 04:46, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Most of the contents we uploaded so far are translated by contributor him/herself, not with online web translator. =(
(Admin team members are bilingual) For the accuracy of information, I highly recommend to use foreign sources for now. This doesn't necessary mean you can't contribute if you are not bilingual, you can rather help us to edit the existing pages and keep the consistency. --Uchocobo 13:33, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

We Have Competition! O.O

Looks like the other wiki somewhat ahead with formatting. We should copy their formating later on (*just like mabiguru+mabinogiworld* lol), and overtake them lol. Their wiki is more pleasant to view imo. http://wiki.dfosource.com --Hengsheng120 14:30, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Since the beginning of Mabinogi World Wiki, our admin team's motto always have been work hard on our contents. Personally I don't find it amusing having content to copy paste without a single effort involved. Plus, don't drag the wiki into this whole "competition" business. There isn't one to begin with, and their admin's ultimate goal and our admin's goal completely differ. --Uchocobo 16:58, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Can you explain the different goals of the two wikis? I'm confused. If there are common goals, I think that we should all work together to make a single wiki with quality information. I'm looking forward to contribute to both wikis and do not know how to make them unique. Otherwise, "competition" comes naturally over time (and eventually, one of the wikis will become less used/abandoned). --Hengsheng120 18:26, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Frankly speaking, I'm open to the idea of how all of us should be working together on a single wiki. Unfortunately, the truth wasn't that pleasant once we started out with Mabinogi World Wiki first. Most of the collaboration requests from other admins we've received were nothing more than "We want your content, hand it over so we can profit." Even the idea of having NA fansite union was neglected due to the other admins disliking it being non-profit and rejection of their collaboration offer. In our side's definition, content of wiki doesn't belong to admins/moderators. It is solely property of the community itself, as every contributors put their effort in constructing it. Since we are also involving contents from foreign fansites, it is crucial to keep our transparency of being non-profit web community. None of the admins earned single cent thus far. In fact, I've been spending my own pocket money and time since I treat wiki activity as a hobby. With this in mind, the admin of the site you mentioned has no intention to abide by this conduct... at least last time I encountered him due to unpleasant incident. You can search old threads in the forums if you are curious. And yes, if there are committed group of individuals working on DFO wiki that has better potential with right set of mind, I'm even willing to "hand over" the contents for work together to construct a wiki with high quality information for all players. For related discussion for this, let's take it to the forums next time instead. =/ --Uchocobo 02:28, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Most of their format looks like it was taken from mabiguru. I'm not a fan of their format. -Tea 19:45, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Skill Planner

There are several skill planners on the web including one on the Korean Nexon site. Aradsociety has just put up their translated skill planner as well. I believe that these are valuable resources that can be linked through this wiki. I haven't come up with a way to include a link that would be consistent and non-intrusive to the rest of the wiki.

Monster Page Formatting

I think it is much needed that we need to format the monster pages into categories similar to that of the mabi wiki. I have started pages for some of the monsters, but they need to be grouped into one page. I would do this myself but I somewhat lack time and knowledge of wiki formatting, so anyone who could do this would have my thanks. Shadofrak 21:40, 11 October 2009

Strategy Section

It would be nice to have a strategy or combo section of the wiki. Divide it similarly to that of the mabi wiki, but we need to include categorization for each class and subclass. Shadofrak
