Overview

The Giants are three sub-bosses you will fight in Scoria Core on the way to the boss room. You will have to fight all three of them at once in the final boss room.

Goliath

Level 49
Dungeon(s) Scoria Core

Goliath is a sub-boss found in the third room of Scoria Core. When you fight all three Giants together in the final room, prepare for a world of pain.

Move List

  • Super-armored melee smashing attack which inflicts heavy damage.
  • Fire uppercut: a melee attack that launches you and inflicts heavy fire damage.
  • Summons Adors and Soul Eaters when it's life reaches certain points.

Strategy

  • Use grabs to bypass his super-armored attacks.
  • In the final boss room, get rid of Goliath first: The sooner you get rid of him and his summons, the easier the fight will be.
  • Has the lowest health of the three Titans.

Atlas

Level 49
Dungeon(s) Scoria Core

Atlas is a sub-boss found in the room after the room with 2 Burning Fiends in Scoria Core. When you fight all three Giants together in the final room, prepare for a world of pain.

Move List

  • Super-armored melee smashing attack which inflicts heavy damage.
  • Super-armored melee uppercut that launches you high into the air.
  • Super-armored projectile attack where it throws nets similar to a Brawler's: has a high chance of immobilizing you.
  • When it's health falls to 1/3, casts a very high level Haste on itself. Increases its attack and movement speeds by ridiculous amounts.
  • Can Slow down targets if he successfully connects with his melee attacks.

Strategy

  • Use grabs to bypass his super-armored attacks.
  • Atlas only uses Haste in the final boss room. Try not to make him cast Haste until Goliath's summons are all dead, or else he may be able to do several hit-and-run attacks with his insane speed, using Goliath's spirits as meat shields to block and counter-attack you.

Titan

Level 49
Dungeon(s) Scoria Core

Titan is a sub-boss found in the room just before the final room in Scoria Core. When you fight all three Giants together in the final room, prepare for a world of pain.

Move List

  • Super-armored melee smashing attack which inflicts heavy damage.
  • Nyx Uppercut: Super-armored melee attack that inflicts roughly twice the damage of every other Giants' attacks. Can hit enemies as well to launch them as projectiles at you.
  • When it's health falls to 1/3, casts permanent Super Armor on itself. At this point, no attacks, except for grabs, will cause him to flinch.
  • Casts Disenchant to remove buffs on you. Can hit and damage you when it raises its fist.
  • ALL his attacks have a very high chance of stunning you.

Strategy

  • Use grabs to bypass his super-armored attacks.
  • Titan's Nyx Uppercut can hit and stun his fellow Giants as well, buying you some time.
  • If you are not very good at button-mashing, you may fall into an unfortunate cycle of being stunned over and over until you are dead.
  • When he casts Super Armor, take advantage of the fact that he is the slowest of the three Titans: Use hit-and-run tactics or grabs. Try to kill him last so you have the breathing space to maneuver.
  • Titan has the highest health of the three Giants.
