If you'd like to look at it, and tell me if any of it is salvageable, I'm all ears. Once I have a greater understanding of how to do it, I'll be able to ensure that the rollover code does, in fact, work. Hard to translate names from jp wiki. Best bet is to keep popping in player shops and see what names they have. - HellMuT 04:47, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
The level of complexity involved in the list organizer seemed too... Complex for the number of entries involved. Putting them in simple rarity categories, putting them in level order, and then doing a base order of Head/Shoulders, Upper Armor, Belt, Leg Armor, then Shoes would be the easiest way for persons to skim through this. Though, if someone wanted to code something that organized an already partitioned rarity list by level, first letter of the first name (alphabetically/reverse alphabetically), item type (Belt, Leg...) (and ONLY those things), that might work too. Then we could do that to all of the armors. That way, all the armor types wouldn't be so different, and look so silly. - JP wiki has separate pages for Leather tops, bottoms, belts, etc., and for each armor category. I'd think it'd be easier to just sort it that way. Of course its easier to navigate through their site in the first place. Which is why I want to try and get a drop down box for the side navigation box. - HellMuT 08:32, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
- Also, one thing to add. I don't think Resell value, durability, and weight is needed on the armor tables. - HellMuT 08:36, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
- I've been contemplating Durability as well, though weight could be important for someone or other. For instance, there's a Totem called Gravity Totem in the Korean version (name is translated, of course), where the weight of a person is accounted in the damage. Also, considering some people refuse to get the upgrades for the chest (I imagine there must be someone who does, anyways), it could be significant. To some one. But the only reason I added resale value was because it was in the previous chart, and little else was. Werty8472 02:52, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- I think they all weigh the same. Level 5 white light armor top is 3.1kg and my level 40 green light armor top is 3.1kg also- HellMuT 05:38, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Huh! So be it. I'm gonna separate the two different stat boosts though. Werty8472 19:31, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Okay: So I'm thinking "Icon, Name(/rarity), Level, Physical Defense, Strength, Vitality, Source, Other Bonuses. I'm thinking that we could put Class Specs in a drag over script with a picture of their faces, and then look at weapons pages, especially Great Swords because I think we could do the description in an if/then like that. Once we're sure, maybe we could add in the auto sorter that the Battlemage guy put in earlier for level and defense, or alphabetically, or by rarity, then package it into a template. If we did it like that, we'd need to switch the strata to by slot instead of by level. How's that sound? Werty8472 19:31, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds fine. The drag over script sounds really cool also. - HellMuT 00:49, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

I've started two templates: Template:LeatherArmor and Template:LeatherArmor2 . They're still being worked on, and currently do not take advantage of any code that reorganizes the data. They also have not been tested, though I very much imagine that they will not work currently. I have to admit that I'm not exactly adept at coding, but I did spent an entirely too long time on trying to figure it out from pieces already used on the site.
If you'd like to look at it, and tell me if any of it is salvageable, I'm all ears. Once I have a greater understanding of how to do it, I'll be able to ensure that the rollover code does, in fact, work. And once it all does, it'll be relatively easy to do to all the pages.
Anyways, enjoy- Werty8472 05:04, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
