Use for more info on enhancing. Such as enhancing costs for weapon/armor level and rarity, how many ryan cokes it costs to upgrade, upgrade colors, and how much bonus you get per upgrade, ex: snip - HellMuT 01:46, 12 November 2009 (UTC)
...I would like to see the enhancing glow on weapons that have a white/gray base color. Also I would like to attempt to get it to orange. XD I'll be posting the screenies should I get the rank. I'd probably do it on some cheap weapon so that breakage does not make baby jesus cry. -- Ladywinter 04:40, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- ARGH COLOR LOSS D= -- Ladywinter 09:24, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've been looking and 1-6 doesn't really seem all that green. +1 - +7 seem the same. At +8, it just seems to flash faster. I guess when you are doing your upgrading adventures, try to take a screenshot of each level :D. Anyways, I heard that someone got a +18, I just wish I could find him to take a screenshot. - HellMuT 09:35, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- it looks yellow to me, frankly, and there doesn't seem to be much difference in color/glow (at least any that shows up well in the screenshots) until about lvl 3~4. I think I might post the results at least to the discussion board so that ppl can weigh in on what's most representative. I'm also staring at the weapon and realizing that prehaps I'm in the wrong class to properly show weapon color; I'm thinking maybe make a slayer or something for the screenshots. Thoughts? -- Ladywinter 09:51, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- That Zanbato looked like it was glowing real nice, so maybe Slayer might be a better choice. - HellMuT 09:57, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was thinking that myself. Luckily the Slayer has a pale/no-color weapon at level 6, unlike the mages. -- Ladywinter 16:47, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
- Uhoh, I just did some research. Apparently white/blue weapons break more. ::ponder:: I wonder what the cost/benefit would be of doing such, then? -- Ladywinter 17:12, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

Pinks can't be the same upgrade chance as Blues/Purples
I purchased a level 20 Pink Lightsaber, and it failed roughly 20 Times going from +5 to +6, sometimes it even went all the way back to +3 (one level at a time)
- I wouldn't be surprised. I found in the "upgrade.etc" file in the script.pvf file the following lines:
- "[upgrade failed bonus weight by rarity]
- `rare` 1.0
- `unique` 1.2
- `epic` 1.5
- `chronicle` 1.0
- [/upgrade failed bonus weight by rarity]"
- It wouldn't surprise me, therefore, if "unique" and "epic" items have a higher failure rate than other items. I still don't know how I'd find out for sure, though. But then again, there's some stuff in the upgrade.etc file that don't match up. Like, it's giving me different prices for upgrading pink and purple level 20 weapons and armor. I'll keep looking.
