Description

The boss of Blood Sands. Attacks deal high damage, and has a very strong poison that can stack.

Move List

  • When the Moth Queen spreads her wings and says "Be my slave.", a person who is within her melee range will be encased in a cocoon and take continual damage until broken free, either by mashing buttons or allies dealing enough damage to the cocoon.
  • When the Moth Queen says "Take my poison sting!", she will fire 6 poison stingers in front of her. Each needle is its own individual projectile, and if all of them hit a player, the poison of each and every one of them will stack, dealing very high Poison (Status).png Poison (Status) damage. The player is likely to die unless he/she is using healing items or cures him/herself of the Poison (Status).png Poison (Status).
  • When the Moth Queen flies upwards she will become invincible to damage and fire off 5 wind blades. One diagonally upwards and in front, three diagonally down and in front and one diagonally behind her. The best way to avoid this is to move vertically.
  • She can also summon a butterfly storm. The storm is made out of several butterfly projectiles, all breakable by dealing damage. So if the player has a constant barrage of attacks, it is likely that he/she will come out unscathed. The storm comes from the upper behind of the Moth Queen, in a curved pattern that descends, then directly forward. If you are behind her and not jumping, the butterflies are not likely to hit you. The butterflies still hit where her sprite is located though, so to be safe, stay about 2 of her sprites away behind her.
  • She also has a short-ranged backhand slap she rarely ever uses.
  • <Hero's Road> She will summon 4 Blooderfly Larvae, that work very similarly to how the Nugol Larvae work. Can cause Bleeding (Status).png Bleed (Status).
  • <Hero's Road> When she says "I'll kill the first one I see.", red butterflies will start flying out of the player, and if she triggers the attack she will 1-hit kill the player that had the red butterflies on them. Run away from her until the red butterflies stop flying around the character's body. (Needs more testing to figure out which player she targets first, as there can be multiple players with butterflies, but only one will die.)
