Wiki Tips

  • next to the "save page" button is a preview button. Please use it to avoid spamming Recent Changes.
  • Typing four tildes (this ~~~~) automatically signs your name, makes a link, and timestamps
  • Correct spelling gets you points.
  • If you don't know how to format something, go to a page that you think is nicely formatted and click on the "edit."
    • Don't change this code, if you want to experiment do it on your userpage.
    • Eyeball the code until you see something that you recognize
    • Copy the code in the same paragraph as the part you recognize
    • Paste it onto the page that you're working on.
    • Replace the text as needed.
  • Transclusion is a process where the data is one place and the formatting is in another place. This mean that you can improve the format without changing the data or change the data without breaking the format.
    • This is how to use Templates with transclusion:
      • Make a Template (put it somewhere other can see/emulate)
      • Fill it with Data (new page 1)
      • the Wiki auto-places the Data into a Table you made for rows. (new page 2)
      • Then you nest the Table For Rows with a Table you made for columns. (new page 3)
      • To make a Final Sortable Table (this is the code that goes on the page you want the table to appear in)
  • {{Anchor|Anchor Name}}: makes an anchor.
    • ie. now you can link to that specific point on the page, via [[Page Name#Anchor Name|Link Name]]
  • for more help on advanced stuff try Media Wiki's help pages (be prepared to get a headache): http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help
  • #REDIRECT[[link]] makes a redirect.
  • How to make a pretty table that's easy to edit:

{|class="wikitable" style="background:#ffffff; text-align: center" |- style="border-bottom:3px solid #CCCCFF" ! Column1 Name !! Column2 Name !! Column3 Name |- | 1a || 2a || 3a || |- | 1b || 2b || 3b || |}

It looks like this:

Column1 Name Column2 Name Column3 Name
1a 2a 3a
1b 2b 3b

And make it sortable: {|class="wikitable sortable" style="background:#ffffff; text-align: center" |- style="border-bottom:3px solid #CCCCFF" ! Column1 Name !! Column2 Name !! Column3 Name |- | 1a || 2a || 3a || |- | 1b || 2b || 3b || |}

Example:

Column1 Name Column2 Name Column3 Name
1a 2a 3a
1b 2b 3b

Combos

Extender: Chaser Launch, Atk Skill, Chaser Launch, Atk Skill, etc Extender: (downed) Uppercut, Chaser Launch, etc.

Trial Combo: Normal atk (chaser), dragon fang (water), launch/palm strike(fire), stabbing wheel.

Found somewhere: "Also remember that you can create chasers by hitting inanimate objects with the last hit of your combo. So same the barrels and posts and junk until you clear the monsters out, then break them and you can use skills + neutral chasers to start with in the next room. Or build chasers on single monsters and use them + skills on bigger mobs."
