12/13/2012

• Bakal's Minion Avatar Package: During the event period, Bakal's Avatar Packages will be on sale. However, Bakal has left a Christmas treat for the Dungeon Fighters. Each set contains 1 of 4 random Bakal's Petite Minion Creatures, 10 Skeleton Keys, 100 Remy's Touches and other presents.

• How the Goblins Stole X-Mas: "Collect 50 Snowmen from any dungeon in the game and complete Santa Claus' quest." Completing this quest will allow you to receive a Merry Goblin 'Fro Hair Avatar. The avatar is randomly-generated and can produce any class except for male mage. These Avatars are tradeable, and the quest can be completed once per character.
• 2x Item Drop Rate and EXP between 3 PM Pacific to 5 PM Pacific, from December 12th to the 25th.
• The more BP you burn, the more bonuses you receive. Event runs from December 22nd to the 25th
• The golden goblin is back. He will appear for three days so don't miss out! December 26th to the 29th
• Spoils of War returns. From December 30th to January 16th, clear the first 10 dungeons, that are near your level, for rewards.

• Gobble Gobble! Turkey Day Savings!: For 1 day only, get some turkeys to spice your DFO life. Some turkey packages include 100 skeletons keys, Equipment Protection Ticket, and Pot of Wonders.

• Grab Bags, Golden Bind Cubes and More!: For awhile, Bonus Grab Bags will be on sale in the item shop. They "contain a random amount of some of your favorite items!" and "no matter how many items you get, you're already saving!"
• Golden bind cube is back! These cubes have a higher chance of creating rare avatars.
• The lost treasure has been updated. Some new items include PERMANENT titles, rare beads, and due to popular demand, Latria's , Alicia's , Sheyd's and Selist's Tears have returned.

• Spoils of War - 11/07/12-11/28/12: Spoils of War is back. For the next two weeks, clear the first 10 dungeons, that are near your level, for rewards. Some rewards are hp and mp potions, life tokens, and even the challenge box.
  • The challenge box generates a random amount of demon scrolls.

10/11/2012

• Happy Halloween!: When running a dungeon, a Halloween themed Hell party may show up. This party drops only smashed or perfect pumpkins instead of normal drops. Collect the pumpkins and trade them for treats from Hagnes.
• On the first character you sign on, you will receive a baby bakal. Collect golden pumpkins from the Halloween hell party and you can upgrade your creature.
• Every weekend, sign on for special treats, like extra exp and life tokens!

• Halloween Avatar Package: For five weeks, Halloween Avatar Packages will be on sale.
• For four weeks, Witch's Reinforcement pouch will be in item shop. The pouch will randomly generate one reinforcement ticket and one cash item.

• Even MORE Back to School Events!: "If you log in at least 15 days during the event period , you’ll be entered to win a share of the 10,000,000 NX"
• Anyone who hasn’t logged in since 8/31 can claim their Lethe's bell as a welcome back gift.
• "Every Tuesday during the event period, we’ll be holding a secret event between 7 and 8PM PDT. You’ll have to log in to find out what it is!"

• Back to School Events!:Burn 30 bp and claim your back-to-school-rewards."After logging in for atleast 15 days during the event, you can get a unique title. However, this title is only obtainable on one character, so choose wisely.
• Every day, stay logged in for 30 minutes and claim some rewards. You can only obtain this once per account.
• Every Saturday and Sunday, between 3-4pm Pacific, there will be 2x exp event to help level you and your friends!

• September's Big Avatar Party:The Ancient bind cube has been added to the lost treasure. This cube will generate any 1st to 3rd season rare avatars at a 100% chance.
• Avatar Option ticket has been added to the item shop. This ticket will change one avatar's option, if the avatar is bought during the event period.

• Season 2, Act VI: Abysmal Amphitheater: This issue of DFO Magazine previews the Abysmal Arena.
• This Arena will be available in Valley of Fallen Souls.
• On each floor, 1-3 random boss monsters will show up.
  • While killing boss monsters, you may find silver coins. Trade them in for gold coins, via a repeatable quest. With gold coins, you can buy special equipment.
• Can only be entered between 6am to 6pm Pacific Time on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Must be lv60 or higher to enter
• Scheduled Patch is Sept 19th.

8/29/2012

• Play DFO With a Battle Buddy: Between 8/29 to 9/19, add buddies during the event. When you, your buddy and his or her buddies burn bp, you get Buddy coins. Use them to purchase all kinds of items.
• Once two characters become buddies, the link between them can never be broken.

• Premium Golden Candles are Back!: From 8/29 to 9/19, these Golden Candles will be on sale and they reseal your items, even if they have been resealed 7 times.
• Two new packages have added to the item shop for Dungeon Adventurers.
• Emblem week is back.
• Inventory expansion tickets are on sale. All tabs will be expanded by one line and weight will also increase. You can only use them twice per character.
• Avatars have been updated to fit the new season.

• Celebrating Act V: A New Horizon: Everyday, from 8/29 to 8/31, login through DFO website and earn free skeleton key fragments. What's more is that you will get two fragments on the 31st!
• From 8/29 to 9/1, enjoy 2x exp between 3-5pm Pacific.

• Season 2, Act V: A New Horizon: Mercenary system and Guild Hideout will be implemented.
• If you have a lv70 character, you can send them out as mercenaries for gold and rare items.
  • You can choose the duration of the "dispatched" character between 2 hours and 14 days. Do note that there are set time limits.
• If your guild is a lv5 or higher, the guild master can create a Hideout, which is "a place where the members of a guild can all meet."
  • The guild master can also create a guild storage, a safe "to store and share items" between guild members.
    • However, "New Guild Members and Normal Guild Members cannot use the Guild Storage."
• Scheduled Patch is Aug 29th.

8/16/2012

• Arad Summer Events:"As you level up your Avenger, you’ll receive a weapon avatar and recipes to upgrade your weapon avatar!"
• For those you are new to DFO, create up to three new characters and receive help along your journey into Arad! Only accounts created after the 8/16 update and before the 8/29 update will be eligible.
• Part 2: On Saturday, 18th and 25th, don't miss out on hot time. However, instead of just GOLD, there will be level up tickets and rare weapon or better inside the pot.
  • What's better is that you have FOUR chances of fulfilling your dream in Arad, as you can receive the hot time pot at 3pm and 5pm Pacific time on both Saturdays.
• Between those two hot time hours, there will be Golden Goblin and 2x exp and drop event.
• Part 3:Everyone likes free gifts right? Kill monsters in dungeons, pick up "right now" box, and open it! Inside it will be buffs, potions, and various materials.
• "After successfully completing a dungeon, purchase a Gold Card! If you get an item, you’ll get a 2nd for free!"

• Apostle's Descendant Package:Between August 16th and September 19th, you can get Apostle's Themed avatars! Equip any set and watch a special cut scene when you use your awakening skill!
  • There is an option the Aura avatar bonus package. Aura avatars gives the user the ability to party teleport to any map. If any party member is restricted from entering an area, the teleportation will be cancelled.
  • Purchase the Apostle Package on a newly created character and receive extra bonuses during the event period, August 16th through October 10th.
• Character expansion kits are available in the item shop. Only a maximum of three kits pay be purchased per account.
• Avatar bags are back for good. They will produce one random avatar once used, both from the past and present.
• For two weeks, Lost treasures have been updated to generate lv 60 or 65 unique equipment.

8/13/2012

• Season 2, Act IV: Glimmer of Hope: The Avenger and his awakening will be implemented.
• New area called "Suju" will be added.
• New dungeon that has a tournament-style will be opened in Suju.
  • Lvl 70 unique equipment can be bought from the rewards from the Arena Tournament.
• Weapon refine system will be implemented. Refining will "increase the Independent Attack Strength...regardless of what Reinforcements/Boosts are already on the weapon."
• Scheduled patch is August 16th.

8/1/2012

• DFO Summer Sale!: Lethe's Tears are available in the item shop. These tears allow you to reset any one skill by one level.
• For two weeks only, The Sacred Creature Egg will be on sale. In it will be any creature egg, including previous event ones.
• For a limited time only, purchace the skeleton key bundle; the bundle contains 100 keys and is restricted once per account.

8/1/2012

• Seria's Metamorphosis: For two weeks only, you can Morph into Seria to help you on your adventure! The default key to morph is "shift," but it is possible to change it in the settings window.
  • While transformed, monsters will drop broken hearts. Turn them in via Seria's quest and get Seria's golden coin. Take the coin and use it in Seria's vending machine.
  • Seria's vending machine has a chance to generate Seria's Heart. Turn five of them into Kargon and get Seria's Legacy pot, which generates a legacy item between lv5 and lv65.

4/25/2012

• New Rare Finds: The lost treasure has been updated for new items. Some items include a equipment protection ticket, new creatures and avatar emblems.
• Spoils of War: Spoils of War is back. For the next two weeks, clear the first 10 recommanded dungeon for rewards. Some rewards are hp and mp potions, life tokens, and skeleton key fragments.
• Limited Time Sales Events!: For a limited item only, certain item shop items are marked down. Also, if you upgrade your safe during the event period, you will gain some extra items.

4/25/2012

• April 25 - May 10 Events!: During these two weeks, rewards for awakening are increased to 2 Lethe's Honey instead of 1.
• Instead of 10x Channel EXP in Behemoth and Sky Tower, enjoy 20x Channel EXP during this event!
• Mentorship Week Returns - During Mentorship Week, allies will receive extra bonus benefits for partying together.

• This issue of DFO magazine previews new features for Act XVIII - Omen of Apocalypse.
• The patch will be implemented on April 25th.

• Join the Fight and Earn NX! For first time DFO players, Nexon will give out NX when you reach level 10 and level 18.
  • However, you must "have played at least 2 other Nexon games before OR charged at least NX 10,000 in your account history" to participate.

• Golden Goblin & 2x EXP Event!: In celebration of Act XVIII, DFO will host a 2x exp event and Golden Goblin event betwen 3 to 5pm Pacific Time.

4/12/2012

• Hyper Leap Event!: If you have any lvl 18+ character, you can create a new character with the option of "leaping" to level 40! You will also gain a full reinforced gear set. You can only "leap" once per account.
• Use the coin generator in your "leaped" character to generate 1~50 coins. Trade them in to Seria and get some consumables and APCS. Or save up to get an event title! The generator can only be used once per real-life day.
• If you are between lv17 and lv40, gain 10 times the EXP in Skytower and Behemoth Channels, during the event peorid.
• If you are a new person to DFO, starting out can be tricky. During the event period, reach certain level milestones and be rewarded for your efforts.

• DFO will be performing a maintenance on April 12th. During this time, Act XVIII: Omen of Apocalypse will be implemented.

4/6/2012

• Act XVIII: Omen of Apocalypse Patch Notes released. This Chronicle previews 3 new level 70 Otherverse dungeons, 3rd chronicle equipment, and a new blitz point system. Scheduled patch is April 12.

• Arena Now Open!: As compensation, Dfo will provide Blitz Shards, Golden Apples and Skeleton Key Fragments via the Item Redemption Page!
• To help boost your Arena skills, Dfo will host 2x Arena exp events on the weekends of March 31 and April 7 between 12pm to 1pm PDT.
  • During this hour, you will also obtain blitz shards. Turn 50 of them to upgrade your current safe!

• Over the next two weekends (the weekends of March 31 and April 7) 3x exp and drop rate events will be hosted between 2-6pm PDT.

• Bug Busters!: Upon your first character logon, you will gain a Bugaboo creature.
• To upgrade your Bugaboo creatue, defeat the bug monsters that appear in any dungeon. Collect twenty bug legs and ten arena seals and trade them in for a Savage Bugaboo creature.
• Bug Costume: Collect 15 bug legs and trade them in for a Bug Buster box. The Bug costume will turn you into a bug for 5 minutes. The Bug Juice will recover 15% Hp/Mp with a 5 second cooldown.
• Dfo has posted 3 fibs for April fool's day. Find out which one is the real fib on April 1st!

• Week by Week sales!: For the next two weeks, each week will have a BIG sale on selected cash shop items.

• Over the next two weekends, 3x exp and drop rate events will be hosted between March 31st and April 1st, and April 7th and 8th, from 2-6pm PDT.

• The Gladiator's Cache:Simply log on to the Fair Arena and claim your Cache.
• To open your gift box, you must collect key fragments obtained from Fair Arena Limited Missions.
  • Inside the gift box is a reinforceed ticket of +3, +5, +7, or +10.
• To help boost your Arena skills, every Saturday and Sunday, between 3-4pm PDT, you will earn twice the Arena exp.
  • During this hour, you will also obtain blitz shards. Turn them in to upgrade your current safe!

• New Rare Finds!: Between March 15th and April 11th, every lost treasure will become Premium lost treasure. These Premium ones have a higher cahnce of producing rare items.

• Act XVII: Immortal Heroes Patch Notes released. This Chronicle shows previews of the Fair Arena system. Scheduled patch is March 15.
• "The Fair Arena is a new type of PvP mode, for characters to compete in matches with other characters of various levels and subclasses, using new fair-balancing systems."

• DFO extends the Sweet Time and Secret Love Letter events for one more week.
• Surprise Sale Event: Between Wednesday the 7th, and Thursday the 15th, there will be items in the item shop at a reduced price

• The Mysterious Goblin Market!:Every 50bp you burn, 5 goblin coins will be sent to you by mail. Save up your coins to buy rare items in the Goblin Market. The market will appear near Lorianne and will only be up for two hours at a time.
• If you are lucky, you may catch the 30-minute Discount Sale!
• You can only gain 20 goblin coins a day. The 30-minute sale will only appear once a day.

• Buy 1 Get 1 FREE Event!: For the next two weeks, buy one tagged item, get another one FREE.
• Each buy 1 get 1 free item can only be purchased once per account.

• President's Day Weekend Events!: During this weekend, in honor of President's day, there will be 2x EXP + Golden Goblin Event between 3pm and 5pm PST.
• On Monday the 20th, DFO will host a 3x EXP and Drop Rate + Golden Goblin Event between 12 and 2pm and 6 and 8pm PST.

2/8/2012

• Love is in the Air:For one month, every Thursday and Saturday, blanks cards will give out Happy Valentines and +100% exp. Collect the Happy Valentines and trade them in for prizes.
• Find 'Couple Monsters' in dungeons and take their love letters. Bring the letters to your favorite NPCs and improve your relationship! They will also reward you for your efforts.

• Animal Attraction Packages:For two weeks only, special packages will be on sale!
• This package comes with Animal avatars; either a Golden tiger or an Albino tiger pet; and Lethe's, Tactician's, and Conqueror's contracts for 7 days.
• In honor of Valentines day, DFO will add a chocolate box in this package. Inside it will contain various prizes in packs of 1, 10, 100, or even 1000.

• DFO will be performing a maintenance on Feb 8th. During this time, Act XVI Interlude - Secrets of Suju will be implemented.

2/1/2012

• This issue of DFO Magazine previews Act XVI Interlude - Secrets of Suju.
• The Quick Party system is just what it sounds! Quickly create a party and gain dungeon benefits.
• During Mentorship Week, allies will receive benefits that will help them along their journey.
• Guild system will be revamped. The EXP and Level Up Fee required for Guilds will be decreased. Materials needed to purchase Guild EXP Books will be easier to obtain in the Southern Dale Dungeon.

• Upgrade your safe during event period and receive extra rewards!

• Save the Snow Goblin!: Burn 30 bp to receive a snowflake by mail. Bring the snowflake to the Snow Goblin and he will reward you! Continue bringing him snow flakes for a chance to obtain a Legacy weapon pot. Once you burn 200bp, snowflakes will stop being sent to you.
• Class Appreciation Event: Play with the featured character of the day and get bonus EXP!

• This time, if 30,000 players complete the Hat Trick by March 15, 2012, Nexon will release the third phase where one winner will be selected to win a 2012 BMW M3.
