[hide]History
Among many Swordsmen in Pandemonium, there are not much that want to challenge Chermak. With scars and torn-up flesh across all over his body along with the eerie mask that covers his expression, Anyone would be fearful once they see his Demonic Sword Vakira wriggling in his hand. Occasionally there are rookie swordsmen that challenge him perhaps as an act of revenge for their family, or to gain a high reputation. These confident swordsmen do not lose morale despite their loss of flesh through Vakira. Instead, they gain hope of victory through Chermak's unexpected gaps, irregular breathing and foolish mistakes shown throughout their battles.
Here's a glimpse of Chermak's cruel personality can be seen as he toys with his opponents by purposely showing weakness. "Perhaps I can win against him?..." He makes them continue to fight with this false hope eventually, he plays around with his opponent till they lose their ability to fight, and both arms and legs. Then he proceeds to let his disabled opponents alive and destroys their weapon and disappears as if to ridicule them.
Chermak is first mentioned by Cobb referring to him as the "Devil from Border Town" that recently killed slaves who came to the Black Market and is currently tasked to chase down the Adventurer. When re-visiting the village, they first deal with the Valdeses who are ordered by Trauma Yom to bring them to the Royal Casino, but Chermak refuses to stay down no matter how times he's been defeated continues to interfere, even attacking the Sabretooth brothers.
While in District 9, The adventurer along with the Valdeses come across and defeat Silver Light Tagor asking for her help to create a ward to trap him as Tagor tells the adventurer to be bait circling around the district and stall Chermak. The crazed swordsman battles them one last time in front of the ward only to be defeated again and gets captured this time, leaving his fate unknown as he tries to break free.
He is briefly mentioned during a conversation between Yom and an unknown voice which happens to be Ricardo who was the one that sent out Chermak on his mission which he ended up failing.
