Lore

Prey-Isys Raid Lore:

Golden Wing Tritura was the keeper of the Wind Trail that connected the east and west sides of Tayberrs. He cleaved the air with his steel wings and annihilated his enemies with his powerful talons. His luminous golden scales evoked admiration in those who were under his protection, and fear in those who opposed him.

His valor struck terror into his enemies, bringing them to their knees. Those who were under his protection sang his praises. Tritura remained brave, even after Prey disappeared along with the black fragments. He stood in front of everyone and looked around them with a fearless look in his eyes as he shouted, "My talons will protect you until he returns!"

Suddenly, the wind blew, as if heralding impending doom. Tritura instantly flew into the sky and glared at the direction that the wind was blowing. "What a suspicious wind! It's time I step in." Worried, everyone tried to stop him, but he was adamant. But before he left, Tritura promised that he would return in ten days.

Ten days passed. He didn't return. Another ten days passed. Tritura, who flew up to the Wind Trail for everyone else, didn't return. Now only some ominous energy was being radiated from the Wind Trail that he used to protect.

Move Set

Show me your power!

  • Claw Swing: Tritura does a close range attack with his claws either once or three times in a row, dealing quite moderate to heavy damage.
  • Energy Release: Tritura charges up for a attack as he pulls in all party members in a indicator sector and does a Lion's Roar.
  • Down Strike: This pattern is very similar to how Gravity Vice uses it where he'll fly into the air and targets a player in a AoE indicator circle as he strikes the ground upon landing, dealing potentially lethal damage if not avoided.
  • Rush: Tritura rushes forward and scratches with his nails that have rocks protrude from underneath with the last one causing an explosion.
  • Zig-Zag Rush: Basically a Zig-Zag variant of Rush where he'll perform this pattern either during the left or right side of the room three times in total.

  • Berserk
    • Super Grab: Go ahead! After a certain amount of time has passed, the screen will darken as Tritura pushes back everyone and holds a player that's the furthest away in an attempt to rush at them. In order to make Tritura groggy, one of each non-targeted party members needs to stay in the green line path as each time his rush is cancelled, that player is immobilized in stone until the pattern ends. If successful in blocking him three times, Tritura enters his groggy phase for 20 seconds and those members are freed. Failing the pattern will result in him grabbing the targeted player and drops them for lethal damage.

Strategy

  • Wielding a high HP pool, defenses and powerful attack patterns, Tritura is perhaps one of the stronger Sanctum bosses, comparable to Alexandra.
  • Do your best to avoid being hit by Tritura's close ranged attacks.
  • During Super Grab, lightning bolts will strike down randomly across the room that causes knockback and Tritura can also damage players when he's being blocked during the rush phase. Stay at full HP and heal up just in case if you're badly hurt.
  • In Guide Mode, Tritura will instead rush at a orb and the player must block him twice during the pattern.
  • Running in the direction of Tritura where the path of the rush is marked is much easier to stop him.
  • Once Tritura is groggy, let the Crusader/Enchantress deploy Apocalypse (Male Crusader).png Apocalypse/Crux of Victoria.png Crux of Victoria/Marionette (Enchantress).png Marionette and kill him within' 20 seconds or he starts up his patterns again.
  • During Super Grab, it is recommended for the Crusader/Enchantress to stand far away from Tritura (i.e. be the paralyzed party member) so they can continually heal other party members instead of being trapped in a rock.
  • Also during Super Grab, blocking players should avoid standing too close to the paralyzed player, or Tritura may glitch through them and grab the paralyzed player anyway.

Appearances

Trivia

  • His name is derived from the latin word Triturate meaning crush, grind or pulverize, which befits him for how powerful he is.
  • Tritura's design and moniker are based on the mythical Winged Lion.
