Cyphers are group of individuals born with unexplainable, extraordinary magical abilities. Unlike magicians, they lack the training to develop their powers and the discipline required to control it, creating a tendency for unnecessary collateral damage.
Such dangers have created public hysteria among the major populace as well as profiteers who wish to manipulate Cyphers for their abilities. In the face of constant abuse and discrimination, the Cyphers decided to isolate themselves from the world, and have taken refuge within Grozny, the Green City in the Coastal Junction region of Bel Myre. Currently, the Cyphers are being safeguarded by three individuals: Michelle, Mia, and Deschamps.
