Anyway, you said you're an adventurer, right? Then go to the Mushroom Garden in front of here. If you're as good at fighting as you say you are, I expect you to come back in one piece. And your buddy as well. Seria Kirmin Yes? Faris, the Sewer Princess You don't look like you're any good at fighting. Go take care of the wounded. No one here gets to goof off. Faris, the Sewer Princess How about a Hendon Myre that has been turned into hell by the Great Metastasis? Hm... All right. At least you're ballsy. Skilled, too. What happened? The goddamn Great Metastasis happened. What else? Where did you come from? Do I have to explain the destruction of this place in detail? Seria Kirmin Kyaaaah-! Faris, the Sewer Princess What? Why are you screaming? Seria Kirmin Ah, that's... Well... All the food is moldy. What should I feed the baby? Faris, the Sewer Princess Geez, I thought the world was coming to an end. Man, do I really have to do everything? I can't focus on my poison research. Outta the way. I'm going to go check the storage. Seria Kirmin *Sigh...* Adventurer. The Great Metastasis was like an explosion, but worse. It wasn't just a blast of flames. Stone melted. The ground sank. Trees were uprooted and swept away in the flurry of hot air. Every disastrous thing you can think of happened at once. Worse still, mutation spread from the Sewer. People, animals, and even plants turned into monsters. The Metastasis? Yes, it was similar to the the Metastasis, but the Great Metastasis simultaneously occurred in multiple locations in Arad. Bel Myre took the brunt of it. Our empress is still missing, and our country is all but nonexistent now. Everyone who's here is here because they just couldn't let monsters have their homeland. Morgan told me that these people love their country more than anyone else, and that they're strong. And meeting them gave me hope for a better Arad one day.
