Character Biography:
루퍼트 도스타 (Rupert Dostar)

History
As an Enemy
During his boss fight in Noblesse Code, Rupert wields a Offensive & Defensive Stance Similarly to Red Leg Arketo in Prey-Isys Raid. He has the ability to switch stances after a certain amount of seconds has gone by through a timer gauge below, mostly using various skills from Hitman, Secret Agent, and Specialist due to carrying a Core Blade.
Move Set
- Offensive Stance: While in this stance, Rupert dashes around the room using Agile Maneuver as he performs:
- Surprise Attack
- Angle Shot
- Final Strike
- Black Crescent
- Consecutive Shots
- Divide Earth: During either stance, he'll use a Specialist skill by charging up his Core Blade, striking the area in front of him, and then slashes upward. There is a suction properity added at the end of Defensive Stance.
- Defensive Stance: In this stance, Rupert can block all incoming damage and counters back with either Offensive Stance skills and does a Rolling Move while following up with Double Barrels.
- ACR-O: Rupert stands still with a red circle expanding around him, if anyone is within that range, he'll push them back as he takes out his Core Blade that transforms into a Sniper Rifle, while preparing to fire out a red energy projectile directly at their front direction.
Berserk:
- It's time to end this: When Rupert's HP reach 50% alongside the Counter Gauge at 100%, both he and the player gets into a Dueling Sequence that's identical to the one seen in Echon - The Strong. As Rupert prepares to charge up for an attack with his Core Blade, the goal is to repeatedly press buttons on the keyboard until a blue gauge overpowers his orange one. If done successfully, the player tackles Rupert and puts him in a Unstable Stance with his defenses lowered.
Strategy
- Like many bosses such Mateka, Arketo, Axion and Eucild who all have counter patterns and whenever a yellow light flashes on any of Rupert's attacks, landing a counter at the right time can cause him to stagger for a few seconds, countering him three times puts him in a mini-groggy state. If you're playing on Master Difficulty, the amount of counters are increased to four instead.
- He is very susceptible to Slow Down (Status) and Bleeding (Status), so any equipment or skills that specializes in either status effect, can easily deplete his Incapacitation Gauge.
- There is a Counter Gauge above that rises up at either a successful counter or blocking attacks on his respective stances:
- 10% on Normal - Expert Mode, 6% on Master. (Offensive)
- 2% per block on Normal - Expert. (Defensive)

Trivia
- Rupert's name dates back to German origins, meaning "bright fame".
- His ACR-0 attack pattern that involves a Core Blade transforming into a Rifle, is based on a scrapped skill that was originally planned for Specialist in KDnF Test Servers.
- He would also appear in DNF Duel as part of the Hitman's story mode.
