Although even though you did not come here from the future, I was planning on going down to the continent. Ah, so that is why she was hasty. So, Hilder can control space-time as she wishes. Sending you back to the right time. Hearing your words, perhaps I just might die today. Now is the perfect chance. It is unfortunate to just die like this and be unable to test your true strength... Will your strengths be as Hilder thinks, or not. While I hindered her plans for another 500 years, did your kind grow stronger or were unchanging. In a well planned game like this, a small difference is everything. Ah, there is another factor. Even though I am weakened, will you be able to kill me? I might die today, but it might not be you, but others who also come from the future after you."

Following Iris's advice, you tracked down and defeated the Apostles in the Interdimensional Rift. Instead of a sense of victory, however, you feel uneasy and conflicted. Why did Michael of the Holy Eye protect Ozma? How did Bakal know you were coming? What did they know that you didn't know? So many unanswered questions ripple through your head.

[Otherverse] Void Rift

Level 70
Quest Giver Grandis Gracia
Dungeon Void Rift
Briefing Grandis: "I have a serious matter that I feel I should be honest with you about. Ever since monsters from the Otherverse began invading through the Interdimensional Rift, the Order of Priests has suspected a link between them and Ozma. You see, if the Otherverse is already unsealed, then there is a possibility that Ozma could escape into our world via the Rift. The Order of Priests has thus been sending agents into the Otherverse, to find evidence of Ozma's presence. Few of these agents returned alive... but a recent team located a major demonic stronghold. They are not strong enough to breech the base, though..."

<Player>: "...So you want me to check out this stronghold, huh?"

Grandis: "I do. I have no wish to send you into such peril, but I must ask you to lend us your strength. Now, if you are to do this, you must obtain a certain object from Iris, an energy tracer... *You show her the orb* Oh! Iris is one step ahead of everyone, as usual. All is prepared... I feel that this truly must be the will of God that we are fulfilling. Please, venture into the Void Rift, and find any trace you can of Ozma."

Iris: "*Iris holds her hand over the orb. Her eyes dart back and forth as though reading invisible signs in the air.*"

Grandis: "Lord grant us strength... Ozma... and another with his power. Adventurer. There is no one else I could ever ask this of. Please, for the sake of our Order... for the sake of all... Face Ozma, and strike him down."
Objectives Enter Interdimensional Rift and investigate Dark Side in which Ozma has been sighted. (This quest can only be completed in Single Normal mode.)
Dungeon Dialogue Upon confronting Michael of the Holy Eye:

Michael: "You do not understand. As long as I remain here, Ozma is trapped. He cannot reach our world. And so... I cannot let you pass. If you truly will not heed my words... then I have no choice..."

Upon encountering Ozma of Chaos:

Ozma: "Ahh, this brings back memories... You did not have to come all this way, you know. I was on my way to find all of you, I assure you. I suppose I should thank you for saving me the effort..."
Upon Completion Grandis: "How... How can this be?! Michael helped found our Order... He led the quest to vanquish Ozma! Why would he stand between you and Ozma? This must be a mistake. You must be mistaken! *Grandis takes a deep breath* I am sorry. This is... very difficult for me to accept. I beg your understanding. For now, I will inform the Order. Please, give me some time."
