Description

Purging Snader is a former high-ranking member of the Terra Cotta Faction who reached great accomplishment for his art of fire magic. He dueled Nihilistic Ron for it's leadership, but was defeated and humiliated by him, getting wounded during the duel being left to die in Pandemonium's desert, until Luke found and remodeled Snader after being brought back to Castle of the Dead. Thanks to Luke, Snader improved his skills in fire magic and also learned the art of dark magic. He also created Pearlite: a group of wizards known as Luke's followers who attend to the ceremonies of recruiting new members in Time Square. Now Snader's primary goal is to destroy the Terra Cotta and kill Ron for the humiliation he suffered.

Move Set

  • Teleport: Snader will occasionally teleport to avoid players and begin casting his attacks.
  • Laser Blast: Snader shoots a energy beam in front of him, dealing moderate damage. Has about a second to charge so it's avoidable.
  • Elemental Orbs: Snader's main pattern. His mastery over Fire & Shadow allows him to create orbs that are randomly placed either below or above the map's floor. They'll do AoE explosions dealing moderate to heavy damage if players come in contact as those orbs come in two different variations:
    • Ascending: Larger explosions spread out with a shorter duration.
    • Descending: Smaller explosions spread out with a longer duration.
  • Fire & Shadow Clones: When Snader's HP is lowered to 30%, he'll rise up and summon two clones of himself to target random players that have a aura below them. If the clones get too close to said-targeted players, explosions will occur across the room. They can either be avoided, killed or disappear if the casting bar above them fills.
  • Berserk
    • Room-wide Explosion: If Snader's berserk gauge rises due to over-holding, he will become invulnerable creating a wide explosion around him. To avoid the attack, simply run to the room's corner which is a safe zone from being damaged.

Strategy

  • Snader is not very difficult to face outside of his main pattern. You can use holds and burst-heavy skills to take him down with ease before using Teleport which he constantly uses.
  • Watch for the explosion patterns during Elemental Orbs as they can catch party members by surprise if they aren't paying attention.
  • For players who are targeted by Fire & Shadow Clones, keep far away as possible to prevent casualties.
