Pro Gamer League

DFO League--as known as Dungeon & Fighter League--is a pro gamer tourney hosted in South Korea. Tourney hall is located on the 9th floor of Youngsan I-Park Mall. Top 8 teams from preliminary match and top 3 teams from previous league are selected for finals.


Rules

Rules may vary in each league. A list below is a official rule for the latest 6th league.

  • Master 1 Rank or above and 35 level or above.
  • Awakening skills are forbidden. Using such skill will automatically disqualify the participant.
  • Consumable items, Owl Carrier item is not allowed. (Exception to cube fragments)
  • Contract series cash items are only allowed in a preliminary match.
  • Package/Event creatures, Titles, Epic items are not allowed.
  • Revamped unique items after Season 2, ACT 2 patch (December 23rd, 2008) are not allowed. (Ancient dungeon unique, Lv 55 unique)
  • Any other equipments are allowed. (Lv 55 items, any gears with special option triggered upon hit)
  • Normal, High, High Emblem avatars are allowed. (No rare/event/package avatars)
  • No restriction is imposed on emblems.
  • Buffed stats from upgraded gears will remain the same. (Only with minor adjustment)
  • For leader mode, no characters with same job is allowed in a team. (Same goes for male and female gunner)

Goraebob Cup - 1st League

  • Duration: August 1st, 2007 - September 19th, 2007. Broadcast on Ongamenet channel, every Wednesday, 10:00 PM.
  • Details: Hosted as server vs server match.

Toonies Cup - 2nd League

  • Duration: October 30th, 2007 - December 18th, 2007. Broadcast on Ongamenet channel, every Tuesday, 10:00 PM.
  • Details: Hosted as champion challenge match. Rare avatar items allowed in the 1st league were banned.

Shinhan Bank Cup - 3rd League

  • Duration: May 16th, 2008 - July 18th, 2008. Broadcast on Ongamenet channel, every Friday, 4:30 PM.
  • Details: One participant was later discovered for threatening other player with a whisper function to win a match in the tourney. [1]

Public Reception

  • The most continuous on-going question on each league is a stuck system. Most participants claim they struggled or have the tables turned over due to a stuck ruining chain combo.
  • Off-balance in stats due to freedom in gears and emblem raised countless questions.
