A shocking truth comes out of the battle against the Kartel; their leader, Don Enzo Sipo, has been dead for some time and was replaced by a robot! The true villain is the shadowy Lanzeru.

Briefing Zeldine: "It has been a long, hard road, but I can see the end from here. The Kartels have been pushed all the way back to their last stronghold at Arden. If we crush them there, it will all be over. I'm mobilizing all of our available forces for this, and I'd like you to join us, Dungeon Fighter."
Objectives Clear Battle at Arden City and report to Zeldine.
Upon Completion Zeldine: "We're off to a good start!"

Briefing Zeldine: "The head of the entire Kartel, Don Enzo Sipo, is commanding the forces of Arden directly. Say what you will about that man, but he's a masterful, inspiring tactician. If this keeps up, this could be a long, costly battle. Varracht has told me he wants to help us put an end to this. Can you see if he is ready?"
Objectives Ask Varracht if he is ready to battle the Kartel.

Varracht: "It's been a long time, Haas."

Old Man Haas: "That it has, Sandstorm. But I ain't got time for traitors like you."

Varracht: "You best make time, 'cause I'm here to put you down."

Old Man Haas: "Heh. You're welcome to try."
